**Black Friday on Prime Video - Dolphins at Jets** (+9.5, 40.5) 3:00 (1 Viewer)

What a end of half gift! I've never seen a Hail Mary returned for a TD. I'm starting Miami D in all my leagues, so this makes me very happy!

It's almost astonishing how much the NFL product has deteriorated in general. The four Thanksgiving games (yesterday's games and today's) are symbolic of how bad the product is now. The NFL should thank their lucky stars for FF and gambling; without those, their viewership would crumble quickly.
Exactly right, I didn't even watch game last night and I already turned off today's @@@@show. Have 3 players going & still turned it off

If I can watch the Saints, Giants and Packers in the 1970s you can watch this game.

This..

I am playing against 2 guys in this game, and have a 5 leg parlay that I threw 500.00 on and I turned it off.

The NFL sucks. This might be it for me in terms of FF

not quite getting all the comments. There have ALWAYS been bad games in any league. a third of all games are bad, another third merely meh.
And we did get a good one yesterday, or have folks already forgotten the GB upset?

An upset doesn't make it a good game. The Packers were by up two scores by late in the first quarter and it stayed that way until the Lions scored with under a minute left to make the final more respectable. That game wasn't good.

A few good games doesn't make up for the 6-70% of them being awful and seems like the awful ones are the ones on TV and are the ones that are nationally broadcasted. How many horrible Sunday night and Thursday night games have we had.

Has it ever happened? I mean I'm sure it has (maybe at the end of a game when it's meaningless). I wonder how many times it's happened at the end of the 1st half when it actually matters.

So basically every game has to be Eagles-Chiefs, Cowboys-Niners, etc.? So only good teams are allowed to play and be broadcast?
I think what people are complaining about is the lack of parity. There's always going to be good teams, and there's always going to be bad teams. Not every game can be two powerhouses playing each other. If you don't like it? Then just don't watch. I think another reason people are unhappy with the product is all these island games on Thursdays and Mondays, and now even on this Black Friday, so you don't have a choice of what to watch and are stuck watching whatever is on the schedule. If the matchup doesn't interest you, then just find something else to do on Thursdays and Mondays.

If you didn't find that Det-GB game entertaining, then perhaps it really is time to move on.

The quality of play this season has been really down in general.

Now....the 2021 post season was absolutely the greatest post season as a whole I ever watched in my lifetime.

But in general....I think the overall quality of the game itself....the rule changes, the incessant replays, sabermetrics and this generation of the me first athlete.....anyway yeah....and it's across the board in the NFL, NBA and MLB.

The NHL imo is the last bastion of hard nosed team first competition. And the NHL Post Season is incredible.

Was it last week or the week before where 6 or 7 games ended with a gw fg. That was fun.

People been talking about the demise of the NFL for years. Must be a bunch of soccer fans.
Don't get the comparison.. I am a huge soccer fan, especially La Liga and EPL. Those games are made to be low scoring and relatively defensive. NFL Football shouldn't be. The league is horrible right now.

Meh it was not that great of game....really?

all day this. I think the complaints really do revolve around and stem from the increased number of individual isolated contests

I don't get people complaining about a "bad product". If you're not entertained watching anything, why watch it? It's like cooking the same meal every day and complaining how bad it is.

The product is fine. The revenue and viewership is not a concern.

Never said that, but your better games should be on prime time.. There was no reason the Jets-Raiders should have been a prime time national televised matchup.

I have been saying all season if College football can announce a weekly times and tv schedule 7 days out the NFL can also.

Tua going off for 40 since I sat him for Purdy pretty sure hopefully Tyreek and Waddle blow up to ease the pain should it go down that way.
Nope.
Thought Tua would have a great day as well.
Looks like it’s not gonna happen.
Good thing I benched Hall though.

Wait till next week another barn burner Seattle at Dallas on Thursday night

Teams like Jets, Pittsburgh, LV, Seattle, Cincy, Washington, Cleveland, NYG, Tennessee should not be on National TV. I don't care how big their fan bases are.

There's my Phillips sack I knew that was coming since I forgot to bring him up from my taxi squad
