Bottom of the barrel TE streamers. Who ya got? (1 Viewer)

Dynasty - Just traded an early to mid 2019 3rd round pick for RSJ, 10 team TE premium league.

Hope he works out.  Thirds in 10 teamers can land some decent players, but i am desperate for a TE and figured the price was reasonable enough.  DOn't need him for this year so hopefully he just keeps on improving and building a rapport with Rosen.

ESPN Bengals reporter Katherine Terrell expects C.J. Uzomah to be Cincinnati's top tight end moving forward.

It's been about one calendar year since we last had a blurb on Uzomah, but he's now stepping into a promising spot in the Bengals' offense as a catch-first tight end. Terrell believes Uzomah has moved ahead of Tyler Kroft on the depth chart. Uzomah caught his lone target for a six-yard gain last week and flashed a bit in 2016 with 25 catches for 234 yards and a score, making eight starts. With where tight end is at in fantasy, Uzomah is on the fringe of start-able.

Grab Hayden Hurst if he is there in your redraft and you need a TE. He has a chance to be really good.

Saw that. She might be right, but I generally don't like to adjust my strategy based on what beat writers say, especially when Lewis himself was far more noncommittal

I agree, but am wondering who is the better stash between him and Olsen. For some reason Olsen just scares me and youth is on Hurst’s side.

Is it weird that this late consensus around Swaim has me more nervous about my decision to start him?
You could do worse than Swaim. Dak's conservative nature and Swaim's current snap share are very favorable. But if Swaim is your lottery ticket this week, you have to accept that you're rolling with a very limited player. This is the first season in Swaim's NFL career he's eclipsed 100 receiving yards. And he didn't reach 100 yards over his entire college career.

I was leaning Swaim myself this week but like Worm I'm also tempted to roll the dice on Gesicki. He's actually a talented, capable receiver and he'll dominate snaps too. He won't be left in to block a lot cause he sucks at it. That said, nothing about Gesicki's numbers so far or his chemistry with Tannehill suggests we should use him. It's a leap of faith. But the remaining TE in my league are projected to score like 3 or 4 pts. If ever there was a spot to gamble on a higher upside player this is probably it, because the safe floor I'd be passing on is worth very little.

Anyone have a take on Gesicki?

Hurst is on my radar too but we don't even know if he's going to play.

Have Burton on bye and currently have Hooper starting in a good matchup against Pittsburgh. But really considering dropping him and rolling with Hurst this week. Am I crazy? I like Hurst ROS better than Hooper and now would be the time to get him for free. Thoughts?

Not sure who you currently have but these 2 are a perfect combo moving forward. Redraft Olsen could be a difference maker & Hurst is a great dynasty investment.

Fortunately not in a bad position with TE as I planned accordingly (I think/hope) in one league with Reed/Rudolph and the other with Reed/Cook.  I know it's not the appropriate place to post but if anybody can suggest for WDIS I'd appreciate it.  Leaning Reed over Rudolph and Reed over Cook.

Sounds good until you lose by 2 points.

But again it depends if you think it'll be a close matchup or underdog.

You heard it here first

^dynasty desperation play but it has the ability to pay off big

In my redraft short bench I went with Hooper.

Own Engram in both leagues

And after all that, pretty much all of these guys ended up with between 4-7 points. Hooper did a little better, Gates crapped the bed, and Swaim, Njoku and Vannett were all in the range. I guess in a way its a perfect microcosm of this entire board.

It's probably worth seeing what owners want for the top 3-4 TEs.  Feels like there are only 7-8 must start TEs and everything else is a crapshoot.

If possible start any and every TE against the Steelers.

Harris continues to be a tease but he got me more than my other option (Jonnu Smith).

Hooper worked out awesome.

1- Steelers
2- Ridley's been huge lately, which shifts more attention to him, possibly creating opportunities for Hooper

FTR I never dreamed of that many targets for Hooper. I was hoping for half of that. Pleased. I needed a big game with Brandin Cooks giving me a goose egg

Vernon Davis is looking like a decent option.
Do we think this today?

i kind of screwed up in that I only hold 1 te and 1 qb, but both are on bye this week (Russ and jimmy).

already replaces Russ but considering just taking the 0 at te because really no one also to drop and no ww choices that seem worth a damn other than maybe Davis.

I'm considering.

WASH down Crowder, Richardson, and Thompson.

I'm scrambling with the Gronk news.

Looked at what Davis did last year against DAL...not much.
