Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving... (1 Viewer)

Well thanks Dalton for the 3 points in place of Peyton this week where I am 8-0.

Everyone can expect Brady to go off and have his highest total of the year since my opponent is starting him this week.
I freakin knew it! Brady with 42 points against my 3. Need 38 from Andre Johnson in PPR. That's not going to happen.

Oh well, I'll have Peyton back next week, but my undefeated season goes down the tubes.
aww waaaaaaaaa 8-1 who gives a ####... crying about 1 game and your probably first place no biggie...
You do realize that this is where people are suppose to come to vent.
Just got 20 from AJ in the first 11:47 of the first quarter! Not likely going to get another 18, but who knows.

Start the Raiders defense they said.. actually nobody said it, but I did it. Gave me -16 in my main league. Ouch

Traded Rueben Randle for his Andre Johnson this week. I may have Andre on the bench with 25 points but I'm pretty happy.

Two weeks ago i had a team loaded with good players but no studs. Had great depth. I decided to trade a bunch of pieces for a stud. Ended up trading stacy (bradford just went down), gordon (put up a dud vs GB. And weeden just got benched), and andre (0 tds) for aj green. Yeah that ####in backfired. Dont get me wrong, i still have gio as rb2 and decker and allen at wr (which is why i did the move) but jeez this week has stung.

I'm having the best fantasy week I've ever had with one of my teams.

RG3, Desean Jackson, Andre Johnson, Keenan Allen, AP, Chris Johnson, Jimmy Graham, Alshon Jeffery (plays Monday) plus some idp players.

traded Cameron for Chris Johnson, traded Ray RIce, Josh Gordon and Jordy Nelson for Adrian Peterson and Cobb early in the season, then flipped Stafford and Cobb ( the Saturday before Cobb is lost for the year)for Kaepernick and AJ Green, Traded Garcon for Andre Johnson

Almost perfect line up tonight includes Chris Johnson, AP, Andre Johnson,AJ Green, Gio Benard, and Jimmy Graham

Was going to vent about how I'm an idiot and benching Tom Brady for Alex Smith cost me my game... but then Andre Johnson wiped out my seemingly insurmountable deficit with 3 quarters to spare.

F U McFadden. Back for one game and another hammy, in which the stiff Jennings gets about 170 total yards and a TD? Again, FU you #####.

This is the place to #####, not be a #####.

Traded my Doug Martin away and Bought low on CJ2k, Spiller, AND Ridley in 2 different trades last week

Started all of them, along with Mike James in my PPR league

Dropped Michael Vick AND started Foles

(Marv Albert voice).................ftw!

Chris Johnson = 34 points off 150 and 2 TDs

KC D = 22 points off 2 DTD and keeping BUF under 14 points.

T.Y. Hilton = 38.9 points off 121 yds and 3 TDs and counting

Will lose by a good margin as my opponent has DeSean Jackson (29 points), Gronk (29 points) and AJ (45 points and 3 TDs and counting) with good contributions from Woodhead as well.

Thanks for listening/letting me vent.

So...? Where is the bragging?

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

This league is 1 point for 20 yards receiving. I needed that last AJ catch to get 38 exactly and go ahead by 1.

Unreal....I almost didn't stay up to watch this game...I really cannot believe this happened.

9-0 and clinched a playoff spot. (Pending a stat correction, they way this week went who knows.)

Would've had a win if I just had the stones to start Le'Veon Bell over Trent Richardson. Something about benching your 1st round pick (not because of injury or bye) that I find tough to pull the trigger on. But sometimes you have to face reality if you want to field your best lineup.

Left 108 points on my bench (ppr) in Stacy, Hilton, and Ridley, only to start such treasures as Gordon, Cameron, and McFadden. Stellar.

Left 118 on my bench, but still have 91 for my starters with Nelson/Crosby left. Ehhh

Yep. I just dropped Jennings to fill in for DEF bye. This is the 6th week this season I have had someone in my lineup get injured in the 1st half. It's almost like starting someone on bye every ####### week.

Got to play the highest scoring team in my league (loaded up on DEN players) during their bye. His bench players he starts in place of the three broncos on his roster (Peyton, Decker, Moreno)?

-Flacco

-Bernard

-Andre Johnson

Down 40 with Rodgers still to go, and he has Jordy Nelson too of course

I am playing a witch. Every time I play this guy my guys underperform and his guys perform just well enough to beat me. If it happens once, those are the breaks - but this has been going on for 5 years...every time I play this guy. The worst part, he is in my division and has now beat me twice this year. Guy is 9th (out of 12) in scoring - the first time he plays me he wins by 1.5 points when I scored right at league average. This week he is up by 10 and I will be right at league average. I am fairly sure he has sold his soul to the devil.

League 1: Up big from TY, Graham, Keenan Allen, and Cam. Still have Boyking or Jones and Lacy left. So much for Calvin, Bush, and Moreno's bye week hurting me there.

League 2: Up 10 in a TD only league. Still have Nelson and Lacy vs. Forte (Calvin, Knowshon and Gore's bye not killing me yet).

League 3: I need a lot of help from Forte and Boykin (ppr)...got beat down by TY, Dobson, AJ Green and Chris Johnson....came into this week feeling good against this team. Oof.

League 4: Down 13...have Boykin left vs. Marshall in ppr...not looking good. (Murray, Kenny Stills, Cameron, Colts D, Matt Bryant all crapped the bed...while I had Gio benched) Witten for my opponent hurt me.

Not bad though...the last 2 that Im losing in (and really doing worse in those leagues now...are my free leagues.

Rudolph and Pryor go off injured, Murray does almost nothing, Gordon and V Jackson do almost nothing yet somehow I win against 6-2 team to get myself to 6-3 with Forte and Crosby still to go.

Was due a bit of luck in -J Rodgers, Charles, Griffin, Reed, Bowe, Heyward Bey all let him down

Playoffs looking closer in my virginal season of FF

Projected Points can blow me. Dude I played was "projected" to score 36 points (weird scoring, don't ask) Thanks to Luck, Gio, Ridley, TY and RIley ####### Cooper he's over 100. Need Forte and Crosby to score 40 and I'll hit my "projected" score of 72.

The second highest scoring team in my 12 team redraft is now 3-6. This week, his opponent started Riley Cooper/TY Hilton/Andre Johnson @ WR. 9 effing TDs!!!

Uh oh. I've got Jordy Nelson sprinkled across lots of leagues and he's looking pretty weak with Seneca throwing the ball. I'm in trouble if Rodgers is out for any length of time.

I'm baaaaaaaack!!

Another 3-0 week!

In my three leagues: 8-1, 8-1, 7-2.

In one league, my opponents were screwed by a Johnson in back to back weeks! (Calvin and Andre) :pickle:

Up by 54 yesterday before the Houston Game and he had AJ and Aaron Rogers to go.

I thought I had a great chance but AJ went off and I had a 5 point lead going into tonight's game.

Just checked and I'm going to pull it out....by 3

Hope Rogers is OK but I'm having a beer tonight!

I was down by 7 pts after the afteroon games finished up yesterday. My opponent was all finished, no players left. Foster was active last night, so I started him rather than Starks. Foster went out on his opening drive, but I wasn't worried... because I still had Aaron Rodgers left as well.

I lost by a single yard. I hate when that happens. I literally lost on the last Forte carry when the Bears were called for holding. They put Bush in the game and Forte never got me the yard needed for the win :wall:

I was up by 12 in one with nobody left facing Rogers. In another I was down by 13 with Marshal still to go but also facing Rogers. I won both. Hope Rogers is o.k. though, hate to see him go down.

I hate to have someone injured to get a win, but I did win in a league because my opponent had Rodgers. I had a 2 point lead befre the night started and won by less than a point

My all-win % across eleven leagues = 65.8%, and it's over .500 in all eleven. (Bragging)

But my actual H2H win % = 57.6%. So I'm down 8.2 wins to the expected total. (Grieving)

Odds of having such a large negative disparity = only 4%. Dammit. (Venting)

I finished 11th in my $50 DraftKings 20-team 50/50, only needing 4 more points last night from Rodgers to win!

I logged in to the Sportsline website 1 minute too late to replace Colston with Tim Wright (with half of my healthy players on BYE). Cost me the W.

2nd in pts (by 13 measly pts) and I'm 5-4 and in a 3 way dog fight for my division with 3 weeks to go.

Outscored the guys tied with me by 100 and 250 respectively.

Head to Head is a helluva drug.

I'm absolutely loaded at WR and not sure to proceed:

Calvin Johnson - 1st round (10 team)
Dez Bryant - 2nd
Josh Gordon - 15th
Keenan Allen - FA
TY Hilton - 9th

I also drafted Eric Decker (5th) but moved him for CJ Spiller.

I'm highly reluctant to trade anyone else just because I don't want to improve the competition. I'm 5-4 and 2 games back from 1st.

I have Spiller, MJD, L. Miller, Andre Brown, and Ben Tate as my backs. It seems the only teams that want to deal for a WR are ahead of me in the standings so I feel like standing pat and hoarding these WR's. It will make for some tough calls but currently they are ranked: 2, 4, 24, 16, 17. This is a PPR league with bonuses for long TD's and I can start 3 of them each week (2 WR & 1 FLEX).
