Filed to ESPN: Andrew Luck has informed the Colts he is retiring from the NFL, per source. There will be a press conference Sunday to make it official, but Luck is mentally worn down, and now checking out.

I know he was dealing with some nagging injuries and stuff but after last years massive year, one  would have thought he would have wanted to be leading a rapidly improving Colts team to possibly the promised land in the not so distant future.
