That's what I originally thought as well. Part of me thinks Gus doesn't know these guys and had the meeting to squash this now so it doesn't turn into a war....other part thinks he gave Walt permission to wack the low level street dealers so Jesse won't mess up the bigger picture.Great effing episode. Big fan of the cleaner/PI.Also didn't like the fact that Gus was so close to the street level dealers. There is no way they should know who he is. They are too far down the chain for a guy as careful as Gus is, he shouldn't have any interactions with them. That seemed a bit farfetched to me.

Once Pollos made the decision, the kid became a loose end that had to be dealt with. Probably something Walt should take notice of.

The plot is just getting ridiculous at this point. As I said before Gus would have just killed Walt and Jessie by now. I'm sure if he really needed to he could find a chemist that could replicate the same meth. And even if not a similarly good product. Jessie standing up to him and getting out of line, people don't put up with that crap. He's been a loose end for far too long.
