Breaking Bad on AMC (1 Viewer)

I realize it's all subjective but I don't know how anyone can watch "Breaking Bad" and think it's an average show. It defies common sense really.

You do realize there are hundreds of people out there willing to drive across country and pay 150 bucks to get a picture with Chloe Kardashian (or whichever one is the ####tiest), right?

I was referring more to TV critics but yeah I'm aware of how little intelligence is displayed by many TV viewers.

Isn't it awesome to be smarter than most people? I love my life.

I try not to look down on people. Then there are those who love chit like the Kardashians show over something as great as Breaking Bad and it's difficult not to.

That is pretty sweet, although the text is kind of silly if you've ever played chess before. The King doesn't appear trapped in the corner.

I think the black pawn & white knight are next to each other. Both on row 4. The black pawn is on a black square, the white knight is on a white square. The knight is not in danger from that pawn.

I'd say it covers my point more than adequately. I never said everyone had to agree with my point of view. I simply said it's difficult for me to believe someone could think "Breaking Bad" is an average show. If you or anyone else thinks my appreciation of any other show invalidates my opinion so be it.

By now we know that Skylar is no innocent babe in the woods, heck didn't she a few episodes ago want Jessie dead, so she is up to her neck in it, BUT suddenly she has found her morality because of the death of Hank,and in doing so has son having to defend her against Walt - when in fact it washer who slashed him with the knife.

Screw Skylar I hope the Nazis gang-rape her.

That's why I was rooting for Walt in that scene too. I know Gilligan really wants us to empathize with Skyler but it's virtually impossible for me to do so.

Skyler has ALWAYS been my least favorite character. It's perfect how in the beginning the most innocent character, the real victim, morphs into the person you can't stand. Great writing and acting. Last night was the first time in a long time when I sympathized with Skyler again. When she confronted Walt about Hank that was awesome and then not letting him off the hook for it, the most likeable thing she has done since we met her in season one.

Anna Gunn was awesome, all those dramatic scenes were perfect and we got a beautiful contrast in the first scene from the very beginning when life was simple and she was happily married to show us how far we've come. Such great contrast.

But Skylar wants it both ways, she wants the money that Walt is making but non of the risk. Walt tried to save Hank, but Sky would not listen - instead tried to stab him with a knife. Walt is not innocent at all but Sky is not guiltless and at least should have tried to listen to him.

Good point, especially the bolded. I also thought it was a rather curious time for Skyler to grow a pair of morals.

Isn't the Knight on a white square next to the pawn, and not on the diagonal black?

I think there's an optical illusion and that the knight is on a white square in the 5th row and the black pawn a black square in the 5th row. They are next to each other.

He's been paying taxes on everything he's laundered. The only witnesses that have seen the rest of the money are Skylar, Saul and his goons, Lydia, the Nazis and kinda Jesse. Those last two aren't talking, Saul and his goons will claim attorney client, no one in law enforcement knows about Lydia. That leaves Skylar again as a lone witness.

Now, Skylar can walk the police through her money laundering, but she did create a paper trail from the ground up and Saul provided a paper trail for the startup capital. She seemed a smart enough book keeper to not have left an obvious pattern, which again really just leaves her testimony.

Really, they'd need to flip Saul at this point and he seems scared ####less of Walt.
