So if the Bills won the toss, would the Chiefs have 'played defense'.  Or would the Bills have gone right down the field? 

Of course you know what would happened.  The coin toss decides it.

 
Great game.

Two things.

1. Tony Romo was correct.  Make KC field the kickoff and they might have only one play.

2.  NFL OT rules suck.

 
Slow the other team down, and you get the ball back. 

Chiefs missed a FG, XP, got into position for game tying FG with 17 seconds, win the toss, and scored a TD. 

And it's not fair the Bills didn't get the ball? 

GTFO with that nonsense. Just enjoy an all time game.

Just let fantasy end at the end of regulation. Which is honestly how it should work even now. 

 
Great game, but hate seeing it decided by the coin flip. 

Buffalo kicking the ball into the end zone with 13 seconds made zero sense.  Kick it short of the end zone and the Chiefs have to spend half of that remaining time on the run back.  How is that we know it, but NFL coaches do not? 

 
Not that it matters much for this year, but Allen is going to take it out on the league next year. And I hope he does.

Well, yeah. You have to play Defense as it's a separate unit that is as important as the Offense. Bills could have fumbled or thrown an INT (Giants lost the coin toss in OT in 2007 but won the game due to a Favre INT). The D stops the O, then they give that team the chance to win.

Complaining about the rules? Bills and the Chiefs HAD chances in regulation and there were massive failures by both teams.

only thing I can think of is they were worried about another Hill run.

 
Who cares about the overtime rules? This game never should have gotten to overtime. Inexcusable. The defense choked, but this loss is squarely on coaching and a host of bad coaching decisions made in the last 30 seconds robbed Josh Allen, the offense, and Bills fans of a trip to the AFCCG.

I don’t care about next year. That’s a long way away and there are a lot of good young up and coming teams in the AFC. Nothing is guaranteed and not winning now is a total and utter failure.

Frazier just screwed himself out of any head coaching opportunities. You want that guy as your head coach?  Unreal. 13 seconds left!?  And their safeties were 30 yards deep paranoid about giving up the win, even though with deep safeties they just gave up a TD a minute ago anyway. 

 
Pretty entertaining weekend. I'm honestly not sure the better team won in any of the 4 games, and that's what makes it fun to watch. 1 play goes different in any game, and the other team wins.

I do think the Rams (and maybe the Bengals) were the better teams.

They were fine allowing the first pass. For the second they should have tackled every WR at the snap. Take the 5 yard penalty and good luck with your Hail Mary.

Note…SF fan not Buffalo. I have a lot of criticism for KC players and organization and the type of people they let in their building in the name of winning but now is not the time to throw that around. And that is zero reflection on their fans.

Okay, so then the Chiefs are starting from their own 5 or 10 or wherever they fair catch the kickoff?  Kicking that ball into the end zone was a failure of biblical proportions. 

 
There’s so many plays that can be pointed too but the kickoff and the defense in those last 13 seconds was really, really bad.  Drop 11 guys in to coverage.
