FYI guys; will be flying to India in about 12 hours; should have wifi on the plane but in case I fall asleep or something i'm going to give ExhaltedOne my short list for the Dallas 8.11 Pick.
Pfft 12 hours on a plane? Been there and done that. If you have wifi you'll actually be able to plan your entire draft out of boredom.
I said in 12 not for 12. Im about to board now... its about a 16 hour trip. Exhalted still has my list for 8.11 and its enough to make rhe pick. Ill be checking periodically where i can.

Trent Richardson, RB

8.12 Cincinnati Bengals select Andy Levitre, LG

I'm going for a zone blocking scheme in front of Arian Foster, where we know he has been extremely successful in the past.

Offense:

1.12 QB Matt Ryan 27

6.12 RB Arian Foster 27

3.21 WR Michael Crabtree 26

2.21 LT Ryan Clady 27

8.12 LG Andy Levitre 27

Defense:

4.12 DL Corey Liuget 23

5.21 DE Carlos Dunlap 24

7.21 LB Dion Jordan 23

8.12 Cincinnati Bengals selects Jarvis Jones, LB

Led the nation in sacks (14.5, school record), tackles for loss (24.5, school record) and forced fumbles (7). Yes please! He's had some issues with injuries but he's been given a clean bill of health.

QBs are gonna have a tough time staying upright against this defense.

He was picked at the end of last round... 7.30 I believe...

8.13 Patriots Select Bernard Pollard

I thought of a few positions here, but I see most of the corners left in the same tier, and the same can be said about many other positions as well at this point. I wanted a safety who could intimidate opposing wide receivers into dropping passes across the middle. This is ideal because our corners will probably give up a lot of passes over the middle, whoever they may eventually be...

The defensive scheme we're looking at will probably be to create a lot of pressure, drop corners back to prevent deep passes. Not quite sure of the role of our second safety yet, but hopefully the picture will become more clear as the draft moves forward.

Offense

Eli Manning QB

Jimmy Graham TE

Stevie Johnson WR

D'Brickashaw Ferguson, LT

Mitchell Schwartz, RT

Defense

Justin Houston DE/OLB

Bruce Irvin DE/OLB

Bernard Pollard S

8.14 The Raiders select, Donald Penn, OT, TB. I'm on my phone but according to my list he hasn't been selected yet(I could be wrong though  ). Anyways I wanted another solid tackle to keep the heat off of Peyton and light up the scoreboard.

Peyton Manning

Doug Martin

Julio Jones

Jordan Gross

Donald Penn

Julius Peppers

Ahmad Brooks

8.15 Cardinals select Starlite Lotulelei, NT

I have no idea where any of you value him because of his condition, but I still consider him among the top rookies in this draft and I couldn't let him fall any further (and I feel that even if Lotulelei's career is threatened I can still take an NT later in the draft and still have an elite line). Lotulelei completes what will be a dominate 3-4 line with Atkins and Wilkerson playing the ends. Even some of the elite O-lines that are being assembled in this draft will have problems handling it. Add Washington, Kerrigan, and a few others chipping in with a pass rush, and no QB will be safe against me.

Offense:

6.15 Jason Peters

7.18 Rodger Saffold

Defense:

1.15 Geno Atkins

2.18 Muhammad Wilkerson

3.18 Daryl Washington

4.15 Ryan Kerrigan

5.18 Brandon Carr

8.15 Star Lotulelei

Your team is shaping up similarly to my Chiefs team. We both have two tackles on offense and on defense 3 stud DL, an edge rusher, and a very good cover corner. If I were you though, I'd be nervous about whether Peters can come back to his pre-injury form at his age and also Saffold's propensity to getting injured. Your defense is definitely one of the best though.

I'm most definitely worried about Peters. If I were a real GM drafting for my job, I probably wouldn't even consider taking the risk.I was wondering why I liked your Chiefs team so much. Now I know why.

Keep working the middle of my Defense; wanted Lotulelei here but I think this guy might be the most underrated DT in the NFL

8.22 Cleveland Browns select John Sullivan, C

Just continuing to build the offensive line (like everyone else it seems). He was Minnesota's best offensive lineman in 2012, which says a lot since they led ADP to a 2000 yard season.

Offense

4.22 QB Geno Smith

3.11 HB C.J. Spiller

1.22 WR A.J. Green

2.11 WR Demaryius Thomas

5.11 LT William Beatty

8.22 OC John Sullivan

7.11 RT Gosder Cherilus

Defense

6.22 S Reshad Jones

Fun thought, through 7.5 rounds, if you could have a mulligan for your team(s), would you take one? If so, what?

Saints - I wouldn't have taken Chris Harris Jr. and would have taken an OL, probably either Gross, Cordy Glenn, or Lane Johnson. I wasn't expecting OL to have gone so fast (it's still going really fast!)

Chiefs - I'm not the happiest with the team but looking at the draft results, I don't see any picks I really regret. Maybe if I had a mulligan, I would have taken Antonio Cromartie over Sharrif Floyd but I like Floyd's upside.

There are so many DL players I'd take before Wilfork. That'll teach me to drink on a Sunday night, or not to have a list ready to make picking easier...

Is this based on age? Because he is still pretty damn good.

Probably because of age because Wilfork is pretty damn good.

Anyways, I was hoping I'd get my pick in tonight but it looks like I won't be able to. I'm sick and might not be around when the clock starts. I sent a list of two players to ExaltedOne for my pick if I am not around in the morning.

Sorry, been out most of the day:

Dolphins select 8.24 - Stefen Wisniewski, C

Very young and raw, but showed he can protect the pass really well. If he can improve his run blocking, he could be a top Center in the new few years.

Offense

2.09 - Russell Okung, LT

3.09 - Randall Cobb, WR

6.24 - Josh Sitton, OG

8.24 - Stefen Wisniewski, C

Defense:

1.24 - Navorro Bowman, LB

4.24 - Robert Quinn, DE

5.09 - Charles Tillman, DB

7.09 - Jabaal Sheard, DL/LB

I'm pretty happy with my drafts so far, but in hindsight...Lions - maybe Liuget over Chandler Jones, but this is grasping at straws. I like this team. Argument could be made for Brees or Watt over Wilson but I like what I've built around Wilson for the long haul. Wilson throwing to Dez, protected by Monroe-Evans-Unger-?-Franklin should work well. My D is weak here (just Chandler Jones and Raji), but that will come. Titans - Jimmy Graham over Earl Thomas. Only because good safeties dropped farther than I thought they would. Graham/Barron is a little better than Thomas/Witten. Not unhappy with this team either.

Offense:

QB- Matthew Staffrod

RB- Alfred Morris

WR- Larry Fitzgerald

WR- Roddy White

TE- Jermichael Finley

Defense:

DT: Paul Soliai

MLB: James Laurinitis

So far so good. Still plenty of good CB/S/LB's left. I am screwed at DE but no interest in reaching when the drop between tiers is huge.

I think your o-line is gonna be bad. Stafford is going to spend a lot of time on his back.
