One of my most embarrassing, take away my man card moments.

Pull up to one of those with my change ready and toss it towards the basket....somehow I ####### miss and the change is all over the ground.  Panic and start rummaging through my pockets and change in the car while the cars start piling up behind me.  Discover I don't have the correct change and end up just driving through the damn booth.

 
As soon as people stop at a red light they automatically start looking at their phone.

yup. got stuck behind this lady today. had followed her down the road a mile or so. could see her glancing down every other second to look at her phone. when we got to the light she was locked in to her phone and didn't let up until about 5 seconds after the green.

it's like the phone makes them go deaf. even a horn blast didn't make her budge.

We have those on-ramp stoplights now that come on during rush hour. They are always red until someone pulls up close enough to trigger the sensor. There is a sign that says:

"Pull up here to light"

So some moron will stop like 15 feet back and never triggers the sensor. So people will sit there 20 cars deep sometimes waiting for this idiot to go.

And there is also a sign that says nice and clear: "Two cars go on green."

Yep, only one car will go. It's a mess.

I agree that 3 acres will not be enough. They obviously think so too or they wouldnt have been clearing the trees that are right on the property border.

You think they will just stop and get bored. I think they will end up crossing property lines, turning around in the street, and using the off street bike path that runs through the right of way in front. Thats when one of the other residents will likely report them. The first time a woman walking her baby and talking on her cell phone gets spooked by the spawn of ted nugent they will be on the horn with city hall in a heartbeat.

He isnt a bad dude, just moved from a part of the state where i think it is pretty normal to do this stuff. I can see he owns a couple snowmobiles too.

Ugh, anyone who fires up anything like that prior to 9am is a garbage neighbor.

That's a dumb design.  Just have it go green twice as frequently.

 
I have a neighbor who lets his dogs out in the am and when he gets home from work.  Doesn't walk them.  Dogs crap in my yard, and on the street where it quickly gets run over and pancaked into the asphalt creating the perpetually faint smell of turds. Now that snow is gone, I went through the yard and picked up about 3 lbs worth.  Considering my options for what to do with this bag of poo.  Thoughts?

Walk over there and tell him.  I'd bring that sack of poo to show him just how much is dogs use your yard as a bathroom.  Be nice, but if he continues doing it I'd call Animal Control, you probably have leash laws in your neighborhood.

I just started watching billions, season 1. Very nice scene on this on the New York streets.

 
Idiots who cover there license plate with the colored yearly renewal stickers rather than just placing them one on top of another.  You're annoying.

people quitting facebook because of the information breach and acting as if its an egregious act of line crossing that they just cannot bear 

but who still use the internet, order items off Amazon, Zappos, etc. and act as if their information isn't being shared already.. or their financial information hasn't already been stolen and is just floating around on the dark web waiting to be used.

IT'S JUST FACEBOOK THAT ####ED ME AND I NEED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW I'M QUITTING

?? ATM's are primarily for quick transactions.  If there is some degree of complexity, people need to go inside to take care of those needs.  these days many functions can be done from a computer or phone.

Facebook paranoia is a good one. Was watching Zuckerberg get hounded by a bunch of baby boomer senators today who didn't seem to have the slightest clue at all. I can’t believe these are the people who we elect to represent us. 

I wouldn't be able to restrain myself calling out these old morons for thinking that Facebook is some kind of undeletable mandatory service that is anything but voluntary. 

Then you have scum of the earth Ted Cruz and some other Senator whose name I think was Senator Foghorn Leghorn from Podunk, Alabama who only seemed to care if Facebook was deleting content from a Chik-Fil-A Appreciation Day page or from Fox News pages.

I feel the default should be -- Don't Ask. If I need a receipt it is my duty to ask for it.

What complexity?  Deposit some checks, withdraw some money, deposit some cash- not complicated but also more than one transaction.  That's what the ATM is for, in part.  Deal.

I'm struggling to see where any reason for visiting an ATM would involve performing both of these transactions in the same visit.  Are you using the ATM to make change for large bills?

Who takes out cash and deposits cash at the same trip to the ATM? They arent toys that you are supposed to go play bank with.

If you deposit a check inside at the teller, it takes 24 hours until that money is available for withdraw. If you deposit a check at the ATM, you can withdraw it instantly. 

 
This is probably minor but it's annoying to me - at work, if you want me to do some research about an account or whatever, don't screen capture the account number and send me the image, instead cut-n-paste the number so I can do the same.  Cut-n-paste is more efficient and reduces typos to zero.

 
when making a left hand turn and then needing to make a quick right turn...you still need to complete the left hand turn by turning into the proper left inside lane....and then put your blinker on to move into the right hand lane so you can then make your right turn....

the pet peeve is the dude behind you that when making the initial left hand turn, goes ahead and just turns into the outside right lane and continuing on causing you to have to stop and let him go by or crash....in my head I sooooo many times want to go ahead and get in the crash since it would be the other dudes fault....and teach them a lesson...

if this is all someone is doing i really have no problem with it, and those should be relatively quick. 

when i went yesterday, there was a lady at the machine (no line) who took about 10-15 minutes (that was only for the time i was there).  by the time i got to the machine there was now a line 5 deep.  i was just quick cash, but ATM transactions should  not take 10-15 minutes.
