Capella's 24-hour, VERY bigly OH MY GOD HOW DID WE GET HERE thread (4 Viewers)

Everyone who has laughed at Detroit for all their problems isn't laughing now, Wayne County is going to decide this election.  :coffee:

New York Times projection isn't all breathless like cable news, and they have Trump at 91% chance to win. Holy smokes.
I don't see it.  I wonder if they are projecting generically based on who is leading each state, and not based on what will end up happening.  For instance, earlier Trump looked really good in Virginia and then she came back.

When inner city Detroit votes are counted, I think she takes Michigan.

If HIlary wins Michigan and Pennsylvania, she wins the election.  I don't see a path for Trump, even with a win in Wisconsin.

No idea why the NYT has this an 80% Trump win.

I think Hilary will skate by.
She has to have Wisconsin.  She's not winning Iowa or Arizona.

Keep an eye on Biotechs. Hillary was going to #### with them along with that E. Warren hag. So they sold off ahead of the election. Now that she is out of the picture, they could come roaring back after the selloff. Just a guess.

So can we go back to talking about secret pedo rings infiltrating all levels of government? That was more fun than this.

Everyone underestimated how absolutely pissed off people are.
Exactly. I ####### hate all of them on both sides. Now we have an outside so this could be a path to destroy this 2 party system. If he can win, another outsie can win. Perot failed. That other dude failed Trump has saved us.

This little gem is below the graphs at the top on the NYT page.

"The projections for each state are based on the votes reported so far and how those places have voted in previous elections."

So I ran a projection assuming the following:

Wisc- Trump

Mich-Hilary

Ari-Trump

Penn-Hilary

Puts us at 268 Clinton-267 Trump

But my map is a bit confused due to Maine and Nebraska. Those allow split electoral votes.  Anyone have any idea how those work?

Watching MSNBC for some schaudenfreude.   They're about ready to burst.

Might be the last time we see Brian Williams elevated to an anchor chair.

They are projecting using not just the numbers, but WHERE those votes are coming from.

Hillary isn't doing as well in red counties, as Donald is in blue counties. Basically, that's it.

Good luck with that.
