Capella's 24-hour, VERY bigly OH MY GOD HOW DID WE GET HERE thread (3 Viewers)

Nate Silver 6:53 PM

How important is Florida? (Polls in the eastern part of the state close in a few minutes.) If Clinton wins it, her probability of winning the Electoral College would shoot up to 93 percent from 71 percent, according to our election night model. And if Trump were to win it, his chances would increase to 59 percent from 29 percent.
Stop it, Nate.  If she wins Florida the probability she wins is 100%.

This is exciting as hell!

God, this better break for Clinton.  I haven't prepared myself mentally for a Trump win.

Every county with a good size city like Miami Orlando Jax...all HRC and every slightly more rural area is going Trump

When I see first hand the terrible poverty in these areas and these folks are not enjoying a better life...I just don't understand.

No.  Not even close.  I was on my best behavior at the event.  And, honestly, Republican events are always a bit strained. Even if they have some decent talent.  Dem events are a lot more fun overall.  And by a lot, I mean they suck - which tells you the pain of attending a Republican gala.

Now, I did probably take a batty about 15 seconds after I left...
I think he meant cigars, but thanks for the personal info

Good point on TYT - when the news channels report "3% of votes are in" that's only today's votes.  The total votes include early voting so the real percent reported is much higher.

In Florida CNN is really focusing on comparing the county level results to the 2012 election.  Every time CNN zooms in on a specific county in Florida Hillary is outperforming Obama from 2012.  The places Trump is leading he's leading by slightly less than Mitt 2012, and the places where he's trailing he is trailing by slightly more than Mitt.

CAN I GET A STUPID GUY'S GUIDE TO WATCHING THIS GO DOWN TONIGHT

Which are the states that could go either way?  I get Florida.  I mean, I don't get Florida.  I doubt anyone does.
