Rotating. Mostly gadget plays for Ellington. A couple draws in passing situations and an end-around.I see Ellington has 3 carries, same as Mendenhall. Did something happen with Mendy, or just rotating in?
He looked like a WR there. 15 yds downfield and that ball was low and a full 2 yards out of bounds. Reached out and snagged it while dragging his back toe in bounds.Great catch by Ellington falling out of bounds.
Reminds me of mcnabb, but earlier in cam's careerI've barely seen the Panthers this year, but I don't understand how the QB run game isn't more a part of the Panthers plan. That's what gives Newton a chance to be special, not being a pure drop back passer.
Yeah, how long has LaFell been their #2 WR?The Panthers really need to get their #### together and give their franchise QB some weapons.

I'd agree with this.Bit of both.TS Garp said:Does Palmer look as bad as the stats indicate? Or is the line not giving him any time? Or both?
Even when he has time he's not been good. Cards are going nowhere with him at QB. He's an improvement over what they've had the past 2 seasons. (Though probably minimal improvement over Hoyer -- who came off the street late last year with the Cards)
