Travis Hunter only ran 27 routes on 45 Trevor Lawrence dropbacks yesterday (60%).
Hunter played 43-of-69 defensive snaps.

Maybe if I bench Hunter this week it’ll motivate him to score more.Travis Hunter only ran 27 routes on 45 Trevor Lawrence dropbacks yesterday (60%).

I think this roughly what some of us expected, a few catches for 50ish yards and a couple of defensive plays a game

Really surprised he isn’t getting more looks on offense. Team invested too much not to make him a focal point. Cmon Coach! You know what to do.
Seems to be a recurring theme. T Law missing WRs. There's like 70 pages of people going back and forth on how bad Caleb Williams is for doing the same thing. At this point, I have more faith in Caleb getting better than I do T Law. Trevor appears to be spreading the ball around like Love in GB. BTJ keep dropping passes and putting forth lackadaisical effort, Trevor appears to be going elsewhere.Maybe if I bench Hunter this week it’ll motivate him to score more.Travis Hunter only ran 27 routes on 45 Trevor Lawrence dropbacks yesterday (60%).

week 1 he was open for a huge gain and maybe TD but Lawrence missed him, don't give up
My issue is I see nothing downfield. On my bench for now
Dyami has also multi super easy drops. He’s getting open thoughAnyone starting him this weekend? I wish I could say I'm excited to start but his production has been modest at best. 14 total targets after 2 weeks but only 55 total yards and no TDs. Heck Dyami Brown has 15 targets and 109 yards and 1 TD so far. Is Dyami the play over Hunter until we see something different??

I've got him on the bench, flexing Dobbins over him but am not 100% comfortable with that. Rivalry game against a very good defense, but hard to deny there's a sizable opportunity for him in this offense. I'm leaning into this being a potentially low scoring game with Etienne and Tuten being the focal points.Anyone starting him this weekend? I feel like I should sell in dynasty. He still has potential, but he's not a fantasy asset and I don't see it happening any time soon. Best to sell to a believer before his value falls off a cliff.
I'm not sure what's going on with BTJ.I feel like I should sell in dynasty. He still has potential, but he's not a fantasy asset and I don't see it happening any time soon. Best to sell to a believer before his value falls off a cliff.
is BTJ no longer a fantasy asset?
certainly looks that way so far - may be a great athlete but the 2 way aspect so far is holding him back on both positions. Hed be better off pivoting to one and focusing on it as he does look lost.Is anyone surprised that the Jaguars are screwing up a high draft pick?
Franchise is and has been a joke for years now
They spend all that draft capital to move up to take Hunter and with what they are doing he is totally useless to them so far
A top 5 pick should be starting and contributing right away to the team in a big way, unless it is a QB who needs to sit and learn some first
This is just a travesty what they are doing with him, a complete waste of a top 5 pick.
He is not playing and contributing, does not look like he is learning or improving on anything so far
He could be a weapon at WR but they do not use him and looks like he is not even practicing much on that side of the ball as it seems he
doe snot know what is going on and where to line up
At CB he looks like nothing special at all so far.
They should just put him on offense, work and practice with the offense only, get him up to speed and see what he has
He could be a big play maker
This working both sides is a complete waste of time
He is mid on both sides of the ball as it stands now due to use and practice time
As the 2nd pick, he needs to be really good on one side of the ball. I think it’s fine if he’s primarily a corner if he’s able to be elite at that and use him situationally on offense. It’s really dumb how the Jags are handling him. I shouldn’t be surprised but I am, as I expected him to be a huge part of their offense with how much draft capital they used to acquire him. He needs to be 100% wideout and throw him in on defense for 5-10 situational snaps per game.
It’s a shame the Jags are 2-1. There would be more outrage if they were 0-3.
Travis Hunter - Week 1: 8 offensive targets, played 10% of defensive snaps Week 2: 6 offensive targets, played 60% of defensive snaps Week 3: 2 offensive targets, played 69% of defensive snaps
Travis Hunter’s BAD Week 3 Offense:- 37 snaps- 2 targets- 1 reception- 21 yards Defense:- 43 snaps- 4 targets- 4 receptions allowed- 48 yards allowed
Some offensive plays where TH (or other Jaguars) didn't understand the playbook. There were others in Week 2.
I'm with you. He's struggling too much on both sides of the ball. Put the rookie at either WR or CB and help him succeed at that position. It’s really dumb how the Jags are handling him. For me its because his "hold" status comes with twice the risk as any other player in his situation. If things click on defense first his fantasy value could drop to zero. Why is the number two overall pick and former Heisman winner being written off after three games? He'll figure it out if he's playing WR.
Fantasy, what about in reality? They sold the whole farm just to move up to grab him. This dude had fantasy bust written all over him. It sucks so many people fell for the hype.
100%. I mocked the hell out of the trade on another forum and I still do. Hunter was a fun prospect but most of what made him such an elite college player (Playing both sides) simply is not going to happen in the NFL. He can try but he simply won't succeed or last. The Jags were one of the worst teams to acquire him too. They are so far away from competing and giving up those assets for a hybrid WR/CB is awful.Fantasy, what about in reality? I wonder how much that is on quarterback play because I still see elite fast twitch movements with Hunter and his ball skills are undeniable to the point where he’s still open even if he’s covered .. You gotta throw it up there and have the confidence that he’ll come down with it.100%. I mocked the hell out of the trade on another forum and I still do. You simply can not trust Travis Hunter as a fantasy player because you have no idea if he'll even be playing WR each weekend lmao.
For his rookie season they should have decided either WR or CB, not both as it is hard enough for a rookie to adapt. Then heading into his 2nd year they could explore the 2 way option. I'm really hoping they pull the plug on the 2 way for this year and dedicate him to WR as they really need someone to step up at WR.
Parker always does good with his touches. Wish they would have just made him WR2 and kept their draft picks. :(For his rookie season they should have decided either WR or CB, not both as it is hard enough for a rookie to adapt. Parker looked pretty good.
I am guilty of this as well.Think about how many people drafted him over Egbuka...self included (in only 1 league thank goodness) but man...what a mistake now.
