Benson (ankle, probable) was on the field for Friday morning's practice, the Bengals' official site (dead link?) reports.

Any updates on his practice this week?

He may be a good start on Sunday. Want to make sure he's not a late scrub, or otherwise limited.

Mark Curnutte, of The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals RB Cedric Benson (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 26. He is listed as probable for the team's Week 17 game and is expected to start.

God help me, I'm actually depending on Cedric being healthy this week. With Gore, CJ3 and Pierre Thomas all relaxing on my bench I am staring at my lineup with Cedric, McClain and Mo Morris as starters.

I hate week 17 championships.

Due to the uncertainty (in my mind) of Gore & Lynch (I do own F Jackson, but don't like the matchup vs NEP), I am rolling w/ Sammy Morris & Benson...God help me

The Cincinnati Bengals have declared QB Carson Palmer, WR Chad Johnson, RB Chris Perry, DL Jason Shirley, RB Kenny Watson, OT Levi Jones, OT Stacy Andrews, WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh inactive for Week 17.

Perry and Watson both inactive, despite having been listed as probable earlier in week.

Housh is a scratch, along with Ocho Cinco.

No late word on Benson health, so can somewhat safely presume ankle is not a big issue.
