I was watching the replay of the Chargers/Seahawks game on NFL Network this weekend and saw the (3rd string?) RB Perkins running in the 3rd quarter. I must say, I was pretty impressed. Then, the homer announcers started talking about how he might not even make the team. Is this true? I would love it if the Packers picked this kid up. I think he'd be an upgrade from Herron/Beach.

every year there are many # 3 and # 4 rb's that are ridden hard in the pre-season and put up deent numnbers

just remember the only reason he gained 80 yards in one game is because he was given 20 carries ..

in regards to Perkins .. he played ball at southeast louisiana ...

he is going to most likely make this team . because of the injury to D.Sproles

he will be the # 3 rb .. as of right now

Thanks for the info. Yes, I wasn't really looking at his stats, just how he runs. Seems he'd be well suited to the Packers scheme.
