Trubisky makes this team much more fun to watch. He needs some help though. They need to keep the offense on the field more so the defense can rest. The D has been pretty darn good.

Bears wait years to do things that hurts the organization for years to come, then turn around and do the same thing again. There's no reason to believe they will hire the right person next. 

 
Sad fact is, Trubador's pick on 1st and 10 cost us the game.  Neither receiver in the middle sat to give him an option when he scrambled.  Wright sat early but was covered, then turned upfield.  Cunningham was on the other side of the field.  Bad playcalling.

Trub has to sideline it or throw it out of bounds.

Horrible coaches and 45 million in cap dollars wasted on players that have either been terrible or completely invisible.  Not even mentioning Kevin White. Defense and offense at completely different levels of development. Anyone who thinks Pace has done well at rebuilding the team has lost their mind.

Hahahahahaha!!!!  :lmao:   Yes you are.  You'll be on her complaining and overreacting the rest of the season.  What exactly were you expecting this season when you saw the schedule?  They had a chance to win some games but now they have players dropping left and right to injuries.

With Trubisky now starting I'm excited to watch them each week to see how he progresses.  I can't wait to see him get a chance again like he did last night to drive down the field and win.

It sucked but he was trying to make something happen.  If he got a little air under that pass it could've been huge, as long as the safety didn't come over the top.  

The one thing that was better about last night's game was that I always felt like the Bear's had a shot to win with Trubisky in there.  When they got the ball back in the final minutes I actually felt like Trubisky could drive down the field to win the game.

No way I would've felt that with Glennon as QB.  I don't think they would've been in position to win the game at all with Glennon.

Harrison Smith Game Ending Interception Vikings vs Bears

Still can't see the whole play here as Miller and Smith go off camera for part of the route.

This looks like Smith got in front of Miller preventing the out route (which Trubisky had hit effectively a few times earlier in the game) then Miller turns the route upfield with Smith trailing him. Then Miller being covered on the out route turns it up field with Smith following. I don't think Miller was ever really open but if Trubisky threw the ball a bit deeper and led Miller, Smith may not have been able to make a play on the ball.

You see Trubiskys first read (where he is looking) is the out route to Miller, then he looks to the left but his check down is covered there, he looks to the right seam briefly but then decides to throw to Miller. He is rolling to his right and throwing against his body a bit, did not have his feet planted when he threw.

He might have been able to sneak it over Smith there. Still likely not a good decision and he maybe should have just thrown it away No one else was open on the play.

When watching the game I saw Trubisky wave Miller to go down field.  Miller does but Trubisky doesn't put enough air under it so it gets picked.  With a little air under it and leading Miller it could have been a huge play.  There is only one thing that could have stopped what I thought could have happened and that's the safety coming over the top.  With some air under the ball that would've giving the safety more time and it's possible he picks it or defends the pass.

It was his first game so I'm giving him a pass on this one.

Yeah I do think it was perhaps a bit under thrown. He needed to get some arc on it to make sure Smith couldn't make a play on the ball if he is going to throw that. Sendejo is coming over the top but there was a window there that a great throw may have been able to fit it in there.

Should be a good learning experience. Overall I thought Trubisky played well for his first game.

 
I can't help but view the Bears organization like the movie Major Leagues.  There's an owner up there trying to force the team to lose so they can move the team.

Yeah right.  Why would they want to move this team when they an keep getting rich off a terrible product.  This franchise is not making near as much money in any other city.  I wish they were willing to sell to some younger owner who had some ambition to turn this into a winning program again.

Seems more like the Milwaukee Bucks under Herb Kohl, where his strategy was to make the playoffs as the last seed just to make a little bit of profit and move on. He didn't care about winning it all, just do enough to make the business profitable, who cares about the rest. 

I think that's the same sentiment that the Bears have had- just try to do enough to make some money. That was changed a little this last draft, falling for the SF 49er's trick (or maybe it wasn't and they had another buyer on the phone, so the Bears outbid them) and trading the farm for Trubisky. But either way, they don't seem too concerned about giving their best players the ball so far this season. Took way too long to play Trubisky, Cohen riding the bench, just odd.

His TD to Miller was also well short and should have been picked.

Yep.  Was similar.  He was rolling out and waving to Miller to get open to the left.  He got lucky but I see them as learning lessons right now.

I had much more fun watching him compared Glennon back there.

You should go back and watch that again. That was far from "well short." Wasn't a perfect pass but it was a good play by D to get a hand on the ball. Would've been a fantastic play to intercept it. Don't buy into what the announcers are saying live. They're just rambling. 

 
Mitchell Trubisky faced 2nd & 7+ on 11 of 20 second downs. Half of his third down plays came with 10+ yards to gain.

Great job setting your rookie up for success, Bears. Idiots

Terrible coaching is putting him in an impossible position. I hate that we have to go through the rest of the season with Fox and Loggains when most of us said it was a huge mistake. And it was. 

 
With all that said, I'm glad the kid is in the game. It's pretty much a lost season already and great time to get some valuable experience on the field with very little in the way of expectations.  Fox and Loggains will soon be gone and Trubisky will help to make Chicago a desirable destination.  The kid is going to be good. He didn't crumble in primetime. Far from it. Great things to come from him if the idiots up top can hire a good staff.

I watched it 3 times on DVR.  The TE was 3 yards behind the defender and had another 5 yards of end zone behind him.  That ball should have been delivered a lot higher/further back.  Yes, Sendejo made a good play on it but it was underthrown.  Tough throw to make, and one reason they tell you not to throw back against your body, but that doesn't change the fact it shouldn't have been thrown.  I'm a Trubisky fan and believer, just pointing it out is all.
