Do you like him better than Fred Jackson if you still own Lynch?
Buddy, you're in the wrong place if you looking for an objective answer to that particular question.
Good point. I've held him as Lynch's back up for years convincing myself it was worth it. Not making the team over Jackson or Turbin gives me pause
I've been a bit of a hater here, but with this move, you HAVE to hold him now, and see if he turns into Arian Foster, Part II

I would never argue that FCFS waivers are the best idea, but they do make for some tense smartphone moments.

Thank god this happened on lazy bong Sunday.

Yes. If he can get his head out of his rump ... then, we may have a gem here.

BIG "if"

And the seventh-rounder going to Seattle for Christine Michael is a conditional pick.
Was hoping he would've commanded a higher price, but I'm still excited.

No more Lynch and now he has a chance to compete for real playing time on a dynamic offense.
Seriously? What has he done this far to make you believe anyone would or should pay a higher price? He is lucky he wasn't cut outright.

You guys act like you picked up someone that has proven something. If he can't beat out Turbin and Rowls, Randle owners have nothing to worry about.

What are realistic expectations in Dallas now? Surely Michael won't come in as the starter for week 1. If not, then he has to outshine Randle and McFadden in a reserve role and/or see one or both of them go down to injury to get a shot at starting. Right?

ETA: And with Romo's age and past back problems, it seems that he will have to be able to pass protect in order to stay on the field in passing situations. Can he do that?
He's got a legitimate opportunity to win work here behind a premium OL for a RB to run behind, that's a must add IMO. I don't know to be honest on a forecast, and I wouldn't forecast him to just walk in and be the Dallas RB1. Doesn't mean he and Randle don't share time, or if Randle doesn't impress immediately Michael gets his shot to win the starter role. An injury to Randle and you might win your season owning Michael if the hype is real behind this O-Line with volume. Basically a mess, but this is the cheaper quantity in the equation whose value is shooting up as I type, and I'm trying to add anywhere and everywhere based on the upside.
All this makes sense. On one dynasty roster, I have Randle, McFadden, and Michael. I was on the verge of cutting Michael for a free agent, but now I will hold... and now I have to consider cutting McFadden instead. Holding 3 RBs from one team on a 22 man roster is tough.

I suppose I will shop around to gauge the interest on these guys first.

As someone who's never been a big fan, this trade makes him a guge upside play now. Never like the fact he had Lynch in front of him now he's got McFadden and Randle.

Dropped Hillman in a redraft league for him (own CJ Anderson)

Dropped Oliver RB SD in a 12 team, short bench dynasty league for him.

Basically, got him for free and he's taking up the last spot on my bench in both leagues. At that price with this upside, how can you go wrong?

And I have another dynasty rookie/FA 6 round draft on Monday night. Will be very interesting to see where he goes in that (12 team, Keep only 12, so that's why he isn't on a roster)

If a run heavy team virtually gave him away, there are serious red flags.

Better opportunity now, but some are talking like he's an automatic RB1 going forward. If I had him, I might see if someone in my league values him as such.

Not to mention they had to pick up a 50 year old running back b/c they didn't trust him to be the backup for 6 weeks. That's not going to stop a lot of people on this board from rushing to CVS to pick up some extra lube though.

Wow! I called this a year ago and I'm just genuinely shocked something I thought made sense actually happened (maybe I'm Learning Something).

Seriously though. I said the other day the at was to hold for value and I think a lot of people will perceive there is some now since there is not a player the caliber of lunch blocking him.

That's the same choice I have to make before the season starts (picked him up and dropped my K). What made you drop Hillman? Not worried about the handcuff?
I don't think anyone cares about Hillman but us CJ owners. If CJ goes down, hopefully I can be first to the wire. And who knows if the workhorse would be Hillman or Juwan anyway. So I'm going with upside this early in the year, but he might be back on the wire by week 2 or 3 if injuries hit my team. Zero cost for me at this point.

Dropped him on Friday, picked back up today.

Only thing it cost me was not being able to keep him if he finally blows up

Rotoworld still doesn't have the trade up.
Thankfully. Allowed me to add him in a few leagues despite being late to the party.

I'm not as high on him as I once was but this a free lottery ticket with high upside as long as you're not dropping a startable player for him.
