:thumbup:Stupid thread. Like anyone knows what the Titans will do week 16! Let alone what their record may be week 16! They've played 2 teams with a winning record. This guy acts like they'll have it locked up in no time. Too funny. This HAS to be a joke.

While I agree that no one knows what their intentions are come week 16, something tells me that I did hear that no team has come back from 4 games down to win a division. Every team in the AFC South is 4 games back, so if true, they basically do have it wrapped up.

What percent chance do you think they have to win the division (I'd say 95%)Win the conference? 60%No, not a joke, something to ACTUALLY PLAN AHEAD about.HINT: Once they are 3 games up with 2 to go, the trade deadline will have passed in most leagues. :lmao:

TEN: 9 Nov 2 GNB * 10 Nov 9 @ CHI * 11 Nov 16 @ JAC * 12 Nov 23 NYJ * 13 Nov 27 @ DET 14 Dec 7 CLE 15 Dec 14 @ HOU 16 Dec 21 PIT * 17 Dec 28 @ IND * I see 6 potential losses on that listIND:9 Nov 2 NWE 10 Nov 9 @ PIT * 11 Nov 16 HOU 12 Nov 23 @ SDG * 13 Nov 30 @ CLE 14 Dec 7 CIN 15 Dec 14 DET 16 Dec 18 @ JAC * 17 Dec 28 TEN *I see 4 potential losses on that listTo say it's a 95% chance TEN wins that division is a pretty bold claim. IND could win 2 of those games, especially with Addai back now, and make a push for the division.Yes, chances are TEN wins their division, but if we're playing odds makers here 95% is a ridiculous number. So many factors to consider:TEN has only played ONE team with a winning record this year (BAL), and only TWO teams with a winning record LAST year (IND, JAC)TEN plays 4 teams the rest of the way with winning records (which could obviously change with only 7 games played right now and their division at 3-4).TEN's plays 5 teams the rest of the way with winning records last season.TEN will want home field advantage correct? Only 2 games ahead of the Bills/Patriots/Steelers, and with their tough schedule coming up, they will be making a push come week 16-17 for that homefield advantageChances of TEN winning their division? Probably more like 75%, which goes up to 80% for me if they win this week.Chances of TEN winning their conference? I'd say 10%, but they will definately be in a position to do so, and I expect them to make a push. Nothing is worse than going undefeated in the first 7 games and NOT getting a 1st round bye... that's pretty pathetic actually

Sportsbook has the Titans at +2500 for the division. Bet $100 to win $4, thats about 96%, I'm better at that then I thought. If you think the Titans are only 75% chance to win the Division, you should put a ton down it. 3 to 1 vs 25 to 1

No way TEN loses to NYJ. KC almost beat them last week. At MOST they could lose 4 of their last 9.

They already have a 4 game division lead and a 2 game Home field lead.
If the Colts lose to the Pats, you'll probably get a better idea before week 16. It's looking like no one will catch them in that division. The Jags keep getting key people hurt too. Normally I'd be thinking there's still half a season to go but it looks like the division title's being gift wrapped for them already.

I have often felt many sports teams in NY play to the level of competition. It's been going on a pretty long time too.Too little press for lesser games? alot of attention on bigger ones? Who knows but it happens fairly often IMO

This isn't stupid at all. The Titans currently have a 2-game lead on Pittsburgh and New England for home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Pittsburgh has a very tough schedule remaining so it is doubtful they hang here for long, while New England seemingly has a much easier finish and stands to have a better shot challenging Tennessee to the wire. But if Tennessee can keep winning a few more games here, and New England falters just a little, the home field advantage could skew heavily toward Tennessee and even make the Week 16 game against Pittsburgh a meaningless matchup. As a CJ3 owner in two leagues, this has my attention and concern.

Exactly Grouse! I have CJ3 in 2 of 3 leagues so I am thinking of trading him in one to hedge.

BTW, I had the Coleco football game.

I would not be surprised to see the Titans rest CJ and Lendale White now through the rest of the season and perhaps even until the AFC Championship game (if there is one... I believe there is a chance the other AFC team forfeits).

Thanks for the insightful post. Really appreciate it. I guess you have a lot of time now that your FFL team is 0-8.

I'm not sure Week 16 is a concern. Based on how most teams have handled that week if they've clinched I think he plays as normal unless the Titans build a huge lead and he sits for most of the fourth quarter. But for those in leagues that go through Week 17, that final week is a gigantic concern.

This is the exact reason I don't play in leagues with a week 17. Just silly.

Yea it can suck but my league has been doing this for years and everyone likes playing the league out until the end of the regular season. I do too even though it has adversely impacted me in the past (most recently when I had to sit Bush and Brees in Week 17 two years ago).

Ouch. Zinger!!!Seriously, I have him in three leagues and am not particularly worried - I think they lose a couple of games and in any event, won't want to have their guys rusty by not playing them for several weeks.Week 17 I could see him sitting though.

it's always good to plan 6 weeks ahead and then watch yourself get knocked out so you don't have to worry about it. i say get yourself to the championship with the strongest team possible and if that means you have to find a replacement for CJ in your super bowl, so be it.

I agree with you for the most part, but if I could package CJ3 w/a WR and get LT, I might.

I'm hoping that the Titans will lose a few down the stretch so that they will still be playing for home field advantage at least.
