Congratulations NFC North champ Bears! (1 Viewer)

Call them lucky, call them posers, call them the 2nd best team in the nfc north....call them whatever you want.

For a team Dr. Z has listed as the 22ndish team in the NFL and destined for 3rd or 4th in the NFC north, the bears have proven all the haters wrong. Division champs woot!

Anyways, just wanted to congratulate my boys on overachieving and going beyond expectations and to wish them luck in the playoffs. How far are we gonna go? Hmm...not gonna lie...I'd be pretty happy with one win, but whatever...one can only drink more beer and hope.

Bear down mofos...bear down.

(I don't actually hate GB, it's just kind of obligatory here in Chicago to hate on them)

Going to go on record and say you are calling out the wrong guy.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't Dr Z.

Hell yeah! I am so happy that the Bears are in, and the Vikings are out... it would be sweeter if GB is also out. But Division Champs for sure!!!!!!!!!!!

I was among those who thought they would suck hard this year so gotta hand it to our hated, toothless, mossy, flea-ridden neighbors to the south. If things break the right way next week, 1/2 at Lambeau will be a great one.

:grad:

Im shocked today. I did not expect much this year and am still nervous that the winning will mask the real problems, but nonetheless am extremely excited about the division title.

 .Lock this ####. Should we have gloating threads about every 1st place team?
Why...yes...yes we should...especially since they were left for dead as early as April. So all you overachieving teams...(looking at your Rams, Chiefs) you guys get to do a little extra gloating this year. The iggys can have their own thread once/if they wrap up their division as well.

You only get to have a thread if you beat the Bears. No thread for you. :kicksrock: you weren't complaining when there were tons of Dog Killer threads, were you?Lock him --->eoMMan

Cutler deserves some props - isn't this is his first winning season since high school?

After the bye Martz and Cutler really turned it around. The Green Bay win was impressive.

The NFC is again shaping up as a better conference - at the top - than anyone ever gives it credit for.

He does deserve some credit. Since the bye week he's tied for 7th place in TDs with PManning, Ryan and Flacco. If he had 1 more, he'd be tied for 4th after Vick, Brady and Brees. He's also had less INT than Manning and Brees in that same period.

Obviously the Philly win gives the team a lot more credibility. I think they are difficult for non Chicago fans to rally behind because they seem to drag teams down to their level then out-ugly them for the win. Reminds me of their other playoff teams from the last decade. I wouldn't write them off as a one and done.

Congrats to Chitown but i'll be rooting for Green Bay to win this weekend so the Eagles could possibly get the two seed. I don't want to see them go back to that crap hole at Soldier field.

Congrat's to the Bears you earned it.

Up here in Green Bay we had the bus already rented this off season for the trip to the superbowl, I wonder if we can get a refund. Maybe some room on the Bears bus. Great job Bears.

It must be rough to live amongst us.

Bears earned it and deserve the division.

Would love to see GB slide into the playoffs and meet up with Chicago a 3rd time though.
It's hard to believe, but I thought I heard on the radio that throughout this long rivalry, the Bears and Packers have only met once in the playoffs.
