Could this possibly be the highest scoring week ever in fantasy footba (3 Viewers)

Granted I've only been doing this for about 8 years, but I don't recall a week with such HUGE games from so many stars. I have teams in almost every league I'm in that are over 200 pts. A couple leagues I'm in have 2-3 teams over 180 pts. And it's not just from random guys, but guys that are actually in people's starting lineups.

Can Chase or any of the other FBG nerds find out somehow?

One of my dynasty leagues (in it's 5th year), the high score was 211 in the previous 4 years. One team put up 256

I know I haven't. Our league is 16 years old and the previous all-time single game high score was 219. I've scored 212 (3rd highest) with LT to play and I'm LOSING to 230. (F'in Thomas Jones)

I've never seen anything like it.

Average score per team in my league this week: 147 (projected)

Average score last week: 144

While this is a high scoring week, it can't be off the charts two weeks in a row. I'm not convinced yet.

It could be, unfortunately my opponent is the guy setting the record....A. Rogers...R. Rice...R. Moss...W. Welker

At least he did not have Brady.

depends on settings which nobody mentions and how many players are lined up.

a 35player lineup > 10 player lineup

A few players went nuts....definitely, but overall not significantly higher across the board. Brees, Brady, Moss, Welker, T Jones, Daniels...sure they went nuts - but overall we still have a few teams over 100, most between 75-99 and a few <74.

I am one of the lucky ones, depending on Kaeding and Moreno I could top 140. Highest all time in our league was like 154 a few years ago.

Been doing fantasy 12 years and I never seen any thing like this. Our average week is scores hovering around 100-110. You score 120 and you win most weeks. Well this week there are 7 out of 10 teams at 125 or more and a couple will break 150. I scored 100 with Marshall to go and I am lucky , my opponent was the only under 100 team.

I would think some of the Priest/Alexander/Edge/C-Pep/Moss weeks of like 5-6 years ago would be huge or the some weeks in the 1998 season, but this week certainly had a lot of the big names in FF scoring well.

Wish someone would show Brandon Jacobs some footage of all those TDs....as, at this point, I think he's forgotten where the end zone is.

if the chargers D can put up one single point, i will have set the all time scoring record. 6 yr old redraft reague. That is with Wayne on the bench and 3 points from his replacement. effin Henry.

Its insane. I've score 243, 224, 217, 215, 195, 171 with Marshall still left, and 167 with Marshall and Gates left in 7 of my 12 PPR leagues. (all these leagues start 10 total players, 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1 Flex, 1K, 1D)

In my dyansty league the previous scoring record was smashed by two teams today, would have been awesome had they played each other.

Definitely agree this was the wildest week I've seen by far in my 9th year.

Edit to add: I've also never seen two WRs on the same team go over 30, Moss and Welker.

holy fantasy nerd batman! :lmao:
Said the guy with the Dwight avatar. ;) Actually, I'm in 3 other leagues besides those 12 dynasty leagues. So I guess I'm an even bigger nerd. :)

Unbelievable week.

In one of my 37 leagues, I scored 632.075 points. Granted, we start 28.025 players but that's a big number no matter how you dissect it.

High score this week for a team so far is 129.08, I'm going to win my matchup with a score of 87.40.... Just another week in my league, didn't even get a high score as high as last week, let alone break the high score record.

I play in a receiving heavy, tackle heavy IDP league.

Through the first 5 weeks, we've had 16 starters break 40 points. Today we had 9.

Average score through the year is 202. Avg score this week is 215. But we still have 9 starters to play on Monday night. I figure the average by the end of Monday night we reach 225 give or take.

In my long running 10 team 2-QB PPR league, we've only had a team break 200 about 3 times. This week I will be the first team ever to break 200....and lose.

Might have cleared 255 in the Rapid draft contest this week. Can't remember if I started Winslow or Z.Miller at TE. Only around 225 if I started Winslow

Guy in my league broke the single game scoring record today, in 3 hours.

Brees

MJD

DeAngelo

Andre

Ocho

Colston

Winslow

Longwell

Philly.

Tom Brady broke the single game scoring record for QBs. And he did it ~35 minutes of game time.

Myself, didn't break any records, but I put up big numbers.

Rodgers

Rice

Moreno (still to go)

Moss

Boldin

R. White

Cooley

Tynes

DEN (still to go)

I love it... I had the misfortune of being the 8th best team this week, and played the 13th best (2nd worst) team.

Came at a perfect time, where the only lineup decision I had to make was Schaub over Garrard because of BYE week issues.

not even close in my main league - the high scoring players were fairly evenly spread out among the 12 teams

I feel like such a loser - I am down to just one money league.

Crazy in our 12-team league as well. 100 points should get you 2 victories (we play a double-header every week), but this week had 5 teams go over the 100 point mark.

One owner can set the all-time high with a good game from Marshall tonight. He had:

Brady

Rice

DeAngelo

Moss

This is FBG HOF material. Not many posts get me to laugh crying but this is one of them.

Seriously. I've downsized to two leagues. One of the $1k entry. I may leave the other for a dynasty and call it a day. I can't stand being in too many leagues. Just too many mixed emotions. It's like having 12 NCAA brackets filled out....

Do you get 200 points for submitting your lineup...not to sound like an ####, but the whole SAT thing, joke somewhere in there, oh, I'll stop now..

I am in a funky, TD heavy league with a "super bonus" for certain (very high) yardage marks...only two years old, but one guy broke the record this week and I put up 125 pts (150 is a guaranteed win) and left 110 on the bench (we only roster 9 WRs/RBs and two Ks/Ds/QBs/TEs. If I started Roth and Rice (I know, I got fancy), I would have broken the record.

Our high score (15 year old league) was 104 last year (my team) - A guy scored 126 last week, and could have scored nearly 150 if he would have started a few other guys. That's a 20% increase.
