FFLSchedules.com boasts the largest selection of custom fantasy schedules on the internet. With this acquisition, FFLSchedules will migrate it's 157 paid schedules to the Footballguys.com website by July of 2006. This will be free content at Footballguys.com going forward.

2. Footballguys.com is changing formats for their subscriber contest

We are returning to the survivor-based salary cap contest (that we had 2 years ago) for our subscriber contest. Last year we deviated from this contest (and offered the FFTOC-style contest) mainly because we were overhauling all of our infrastructure (changing to a PHP back end for all content). For those that loved last year's contest, the FFTOC (of which we are now owners) has three exciting levels to play at ($60, $250 and $1,000). Each of these contests offers 100% payout for early bird entries.

Full Details on our subscriber contest will be available on April 24th when we open up the website for the 2006 season.

Glad you like that DM.I personally love the FFTOC format and there are a ton of folks mad that we're changing back but David and I realized there are a lot of people that use our contest as sort of a "set it and forget it" type thing. They subscribe, see the contest as huge perk of subscribing and want to be able to set their roster and then come back in December and collect their cash.

I can see that.

And of course we'll have the FFTOC stuff running wide open in a separate thing so folks can get their fix there.

I'm looking forward to this.

This is exactly what happened to me last year, too.

I usally set mine on Friday's. One week on a Thrusday had an emercency come up and forgot all about it until I returned on Monday to see :No Line-up

Hi Dreamer,That's a good question and we considered it but we needed to allocate all our efforts to one style. So we committed to the Survivor since we were also offering the FFTOC as a separate thing.

Love the change to the old format. Now our overall football knowledge and talent evaluation will be tested once again. Personally I feel it's easier to overcome injuries with depth the get dinged for a donut when you player goes down early in a game.

Every player has a value, and you have a salary cap. Scoring is survivor style where your best players scores count. Injuries are a killer, and don't draft Charles Rogers.
