Gotta go Stone Roses. Didn’t even need to listen to the cover
Scorching hot take incoming: I prefer the Cash version of this song to the NIN original, but (/ducks) the Social Distortion "Ring of Fire" cover to the Cash original.Hurt

Johnny Cash
* I gotta give Reznor his due, but Cash covered it in a way only he could, beautifully.
You should run into oncoming traffic for even offering the Billy Corgan version as an option.
I love the Pumpkins version. You should run into oncoming traffic for even offering the Billy Corgan version as an option.
I like the original better. Paul Rodgers has such an awesome voice.Paul Rogers is pretty spectacular but man Ivan Moody from FFDP really nails this one (among the other cover songs they've covered.)
Bad Company - Bad Bad Company
Bad Company - Five Finger Death Punch
Love Paul Rogers! Among things he did outside of Free, Bad Company, Queen, his solo work and what not, he did two albums with The Firm (The Firm and Mean Business) back in the 80's, I remember when those came out, loved them then, still love them now. So it was Paul Rogers, Jimmy Page, Tony Franklin and Chris Slade.I like the original better. Paul Rodgers has such an awesome voice.
Agree on Paul Rodgers. Amazing how much he did with all of the different bands.Love Paul Rogers! It surprised me too and I’m a big fan of Tears for Fears.I like Gary Jules version of mad world quite a bit better than tears for fears.
Tears for fears
Gary Jules
THe way he does the “dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had” line just crushes me every time.It surprised me too and I’m a big fan of Tears for Fears.
I'd love to know Mick Jaggers opinion of this solid cover.
Am I the only one who think @wikkidpissah is Country **** Montana's long lost twin brother?Mister CIA said:

Thanks for that. I always thought that "Changes" was EASILY a top 5 Sabbath song. Should have been considered one of their staple songs. I had never heard anyone else sing it.
to my everlasting chagrin, while i can sing both, i can hit Country ****'s notes more comfortably than RBGreaves'sAm I the only one who think @wikkidpissah is Country **** Montana's long lost twin brother?
Speaking of Built to Spill, I think their *very* extended cover of Neil Young's "Cortez The Killer" is right up there with the original.
Haven't seen Doug in 15 years. Seeing them in October. Very much looking forward to that. I like their Dream Police, too.Speaking of Built to Spill, I think their *very* extended cover of Neil Young's "Cortez The Killer" is right up there with the original.
