to me it's just awkward watching Fox. i am one of his biggest fans from back to the future and family ties and teen wolf.

But he doesn't look good, his scenes look awkward, and it just makes me a little uncomfortable.

for that reason i wasn't a huge fan of the finale.

I wonder how those in the Parkinson's community actually received that episode... I can't imagine that was good for his foundation.

Overall i enjoyed the season though... the juicing episode and buckner episodes were great...
How could it be bad? Publicity is publicity.
Pissed or Parkinson's?
I don't have the disease, but I would guess, like any other debilating condition, people go through times where they are sad, pissed, detached, and humourous about it. Not a great comparison, but in 1992, I had an ACL replacement in NYC. I was in a room with three other kids (18-19 year old athletes) and we all had the same procedure. We sleep there the first night and are told if we can't bend our knee to a certain degree and piss on our own, we have to stay another night...all we wanted to do was go home. They start with the piss test. Kid #1 fails and gets a catheter (sp) inserted and is screaming/crying at the top of his lungs...kid #2 sees this looks at me and almost starts to cry...he fails too...well, I am kid #3 and I see this and say "screw it", I am going to try to piss now. The nurse comes over to me and I pissed the bed like a baby. She is about to insert the thing and I scream at the top of my lungs, "I pissed! I pissed! Not in the cup but in the bed...that has to count (true Larry David stuff)", as I am hitting the mattress with pee spraying all over. Nurse looks shocked and all of us kids just busted out laughing.Often times, humanizing the condition makes it better. I am sure Fox thought long and hard about it and decided it would be best for the Foundation.

I wonder how the Jewish community received the episode considering the interaction between Larry David and the kid, and considering Larry was drawing Hitler stashes on people. Considering it's just jokes on a comedy show I don't think they give a ####.

wat

I go to the supermarket this morning to get some grub for the football weekend. I see what looks like an open parking spot, but some jackhole with a Lexus is taking up two spots. At first I was pissed, then I starting laughing because I pictured Larry waiting for him and saying "So... are you happy with that park?" :D

I've seen two pig parkers and a chat and cut in the last week. Someone should make a Curb bingo game.

:lmao:

Just saw it last night.

I love how Larry got chased to New York because he wouldn't do one day of charity work. Then got chased to Paris for the same reason.

Leon walking around Paris eating a chalupa was money.

The ol' Chat 'n Cut.
Would the following be considered a "Chat & Cut"?

I am at the deli department of my local grocery store. Three people ahead of me, four behind me. We all have our little blue ticket. The guy at the counter is moving so slow that it is almost as if time is going backwards. One of the women behind me goes up to the woman who is one number ahead of me. They start chatting. From what I gather they work in the same office building. After the woman ahead of me gets her half pound of Peppered Turkey, she turns to the woman who is behind me and asks, "Do you need anything?" That woman tells her order, and then the woman ahead of me relays it to the guy at the counter who proceeds to (slowly) get her Dietz & Watson Super Sharp Cheddar.

I am not certain what to think. On one hand, the woman did technically cut and chat, but she was not the one who initiated the request.

Was there a wrong here? I kept my mouth shut, but maybe Larry was right.

Dammit...thought this might have been an announcement. I'm starting to think he might be waiting to get older for a del Boca Vista-esque season.

No link, but I read this morning that Larry and Seinfeld are writing together for a project that Seinfeld, probably sarcastically, referred to as "huge."

That's what you think. They probably have a secret meeting once a month to work out these maneuvers. Like johnnycakes with his kids stalking every line in a grocery store.

Please don't bump this thread unless it is to let us know that they have announced that there will be a new season.

So now that we've settled that, can someone check with chaka and hulk to see if it's permissible for me to bump this thread whenever I feel like it?

I miss this show. Larry David keeps saying he wants to do season 9 but then starts a different project. :kicksrock:

LD was a huge part of Seinfeld, one of the best network comedies of all- time, and then goes on to star in and write an even funnier show in Curb. Unbelievable success.

LD was on the BS report a few days ago. Says another Curb season is unlikely. Says 8-1 odds.

He also has a new play coming out called Fish in the Dark.

Saw this play over the weekend and can see why he wasn't really working on a new season of Curb. He basically spent that time putting together a live version of a Curb story arc that would have run over a few episodes.

Had a lot of the same Larry David and Curb beats, humor and structure. My wife and I really enjoyed it and it helped fill the Curb void in our lives. It's only in its second week of previews but you would have never known it. No line flubs or missed marks.

Had some other recognizable actors in it, too: Rosie Perez, Rita Wilson, Hesh from the Sopranos and a few "that guys."
