Again I agree Moss is more talented but where you don't get my point is he was a superstar on a different team. What is Art Shell's past to make you think he'll get him the ball. I could wrong on this but last time he was the Raiders coach weren't they a big time running team (Bo Jackson and Marcus Allen). I mean he was an o-line man in the nfl, I doubt the first option for him will be to throw up a bomb to Moss like Linehan and Green use to do in Minn.
Moss will be a focal point in that offense, he is too high profile, too talented, and too expensive not to be utilized as much as possible. Al Davis loves the vertical passing game, and he is still there driving the bus.
That's it I'm staying home for the rest of the year. The thought of that old man behind the wheel scares the Najeh Davenport out of me. Nice debate, I appreciate your views.

Easy for me, in favor of Djax. Moss's days as an elite WR are done. He has shown us that when he's hurt, he can't produce the same as an elite WR like TO can when TO is hurt. Just as we used to talk about how when the likes of F. Taylor or K. Warner were studs in their prime "when they were healthy," it is time to acknowledge that Moss now falls under this category.
 Folks I am happy to see 1/3 of the people even on a "smart" site like this would rather have DJax. I would trade DJax and get Moss back in ANY type of league. Glad to see ho wmany people still don't get it

:D
I have the feeling that this may be bumpable material during the season if Moss doesn't return to his elite form...What really blows my mind with this post is that someone that mocks the people that think that DJax may be better than Moss this year yet the poster is so blindly allegient to Moss that I wonder about him bringing down the curve a little bit on this "smart" site. Guess what, Liquid Tension? Some guys don't come back from injury. It happens. The average lifespan in the NFL is less than 3 years. There is a reason for that. To not even give consideration to the fact that DJax could have a better year than Moss shows me how shortsighted and obtuse you are. I'm in no way endorsing DJax here, but I'm not going to dismiss it outright because he's not Moss. Moss will have his 3rd QB in 2 seasons. That's not a recipe for success.....

:lmao: Kudos to you, as well. Ironically, I've had DJax on a few of my teams but never Moss. I would be thrilled with either this season, but Moss' "name" value tends to drive his cost up, and DJax coming off an injury will probably provide much more potential for value, so he's definitely a guy I'll target. It's been fun.

Okay one last thing. A guy with these #'s don't really scare me too much. It's a nice signing though.2003 MIN 16 29 455 15.7 52 2 17 1 1

2004 MIN 16 68 1006 14.8 68 9 50 0 0

2005 MIN 12 30 328 10.9 20 1 20 0 0
Are you kidding? Those are well above average numbers for a rookie and sophomore WR. The Vikings (Culpepper especially) were in the toilet early last year (5 picks a game?) and Burleson was hurt and never got healthy. Last year was an aberation - Burleson has talent. And if he can hold onto the ball consistently (unusual for a Hawks WR), he could become a favorite target of Hasselbeck.

I have both DJax and Moss in my keeper league (yes, their injuries killed me last year) and I can only keep one. I will be keeping Moss.

1. Moss will have a QB that made Horn a top WR every year in FF and Moss > Horn.

2. Moss was hurt with three injuries last year ad still put up top 15 numbers in my league.

3. Seattle is a run-first team. They will give Alexander, their best player, more looks than anyone else. Not DJax.

4. Moss is the Raiders best player, he will get more looks than Jordan.

5. If Minnesota doesn't match Seattles offer for Burleson, the passes in Seattle will be spread around more.

6. Moss talent is greater than DJax. Odds are in his favor to put up better numbers.

7. Someone mentioned that Shell liked to run the ball more when he had Bo Jackson and Marcus Allen. Jordan is no Bo Jackson or Marcus Allen.

8. I like both and if DJax somehjow fell to me (which I doubt) I'd gladly take him.

Can't believe this one is close.

Jackson has no attitude problems... recovers from injury better... and has better recieving skills.

Moss is on a crappy team, has a terrible attitude, and shouldn't be trusted to wipe his keester properly let alone get 100 receptions in LA.
