I agree with those who say he's the opposite of the Dos Equis guy. DEG is a fictional character.Exactly. Imagine if you learned that the Most Intersting Man In The World from those commercials was a trust fund baby. He suddenly seems a lot less cool.
couldn't disagree more. Here's why it's not every guy's dream: he's kind of a girl dog in the sense that he didn't make that money. His daddy handed it to him. There is something very unmanly about being taken on a date and paid for. There's something a lot more impressive, like light years more, if he's a self made man. So while he seemingly has a pretty cool life, I personally would have a hard time sleeping at night if I stepped into his shoes. And I'm much happier being a guy who made my own successes (and failures). So he'll always seem a little bit like a little boy in that respect, no matter how many strippers or guns or Navy seal programs.
Yeah, like owning a small brewery in northern California.Probably should get better dreams IMO.Is it every mans dream to get sued by a marginal porn star for breaking her foot after throwing her off the roof?
Being a trust fund kid is easier, but self-made men are more respectable.couldn't disagree more. Here's why it's not every guy's dream: he's kind of a girl dog in the sense that he didn't make that money. If you gave me a choice between having to work for my money or somehow winning it or having it gifted to me I'd take the gift every time.
Being self-made is completely overrated.
I'm sure there is some value to having worked for what you got, and a certain level of respect that garners.... but let's be real... working sucks.
And I truly feel it's a slap in the face for us working schleps when you see guys like Zuckerberg still working.... someone has several billion and the guy is NOT using that to just buy a section of St. Barts and live out his remaining years sipping pina coladas and getting daily massages and hanging out with hot chicks and/or good buddies/crew
This is 100% correct. He's had to sacrifice, take real risks, exactly 0 times to accumulate what he's had. He's like the Saudi princes who take pictures of tigers on top of Ferrari's and such. If you ask me who 's life I'd prefer, his or Sergey Brin, I take Google guy any day. Google guy commands an empire and what he does can affect the world. Does he pay these chicks to hang around him? That also dings his alpha-ness if true, IMO.
Sergei Brin is also worth ~$31BB which is about 310x as wealthly as Dan Bilzerian. Pretty sure DB would switch as well. This is 100% correct. Wikipedia says his most notable cash in poker was an 180th place finish in the WSOP Main Event for 36K. That $50mil claim seems like a slight exaggeration.Sounds like his trust fund bank rolled him, but the video in the OP mentioned that he's made $50+mm in poker.
His twitter feed led me to "Kirill was here", who is supposed to be another major poon hound. Self made through night life photography.
I figure, but it also had been reported that he bank rolls a lot of amateurs, including the 2nd place finisher in last years WSOP which paid him $2mm.Wikipedia says his most notable cash in poker was an 180th place finish in the WSOP Main Event for 36K. Really? To some perhaps. To others no amount of money can equal the feeling of success and respect.respect is just as overrated as workingBeing a trust fund kid is easier, but self-made men are more respectable.couldn't disagree more. Here's why it's not every guy's dream: he's kind of a girl dog in the sense that he didn't make that money. To be fair, he's won in excess of 50 million at poker. Unfortunately he's lost in excess of 60 mil.Wikipedia says his most notable cash in poker was an 180th place finish in the WSOP Main Event for 36K. Quite possibly. He has tweeted about separate losing streaks in which he blew through $2.1m and $3.5m. Another time he posted a pic of a $9m stack he won in a 25/50 cash game.To be fair, he's won in excess of 50 million at poker. Dicaprio does kind of live the same lifestyle, he just doesn't Instagram it.I think that if I had a desire to live this lifestyle, it would certainly be DiCaprio over this guy.

If this were true, I'm sure there would be pictures. There was an article on him in Bluff magazine a year or two ago. Said he also has a 15 inch schlong.
Bill Bratzky!
I was surprised at how he came across in the video from the OP. I've read some interviews he's done in the past and he seemed like a complete and total d-bag.Never heard of him. Watched the video in the OP and he comes off as a somewhat likeable guy, but maybe a bit of a loose cannon. His Instagram is solid though.

Meh, he'll be dead like the rest of us soon anyway.
Well it's certainly a better source than a picture of poker chips on a table. Just find it odd that wikipedia wouldn't mention his immense cash game prowess if it exists, like it does for every other 'poker pro' who's raked $50mil on cash games; heck, I would have guessed this dude would have edited it in there himself. There is no accurate source for backroom cash poker games winnings.Feel free to post a better source to his win/loss numbers.Pretty massive difference between cash game poker (which he states is his bread and butter) and tournament poker (which he plays little of).Wikipedia says his most notable cash in poker was an 180th place finish in the WSOP Main Event for 36K. If you want to believe wikipedia as gospel on this topic, by all means![]()
yeah.... seriously what's with this attitude... is this people defending their inferior lives?Nah I'm good, I don't want this powerball 240 million. I want people to respect me.![]()
That's fine. But if given the choice between working or having the money to just pursue your most desired hobbies ALL the time.. would you really work?I like to work.![]()
Who's the crazy fools that said they'd pass up on 100M?Nah I'm good, I don't want this powerball 240 million. I want people to respect me.![]()
Lots of strawman arguments in here. No one said they wouldn't take $100mil or whatever if offered, they just said as far as living the 'American Dream' or whatever, there's something to be said for earning your money as opposed to being given it; a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day isn't valueless.

To you. I know some for whom that sense of accomplishment would mean more than the 100m. Not me, I'm not crazy... but it certainly depends on the person and what they valuenot value-less.. just really low value.Lots of strawman arguments in here. Of course I was exaggerating when I made my point about not wanting or turning down 240M. Because I think this moral high ground that some are speaking from is equally ridiculous. Would it feel good to have made 240M on your own? Yep. Are any of us ever gonna do it? Probably not. So these guys pontificating that being a self made man is more important than inheriting or winning generation changing money come across as delusional fools IMHO.Lots of strawman arguments in here. This. You can be filthy rich and still have great manners, not have a Look At Me social media page, and hopefully just live out your remaining days doing all the awesome stuff that this heart attack guy does without talking about it.Of course I was exaggerating when I made my point about not wanting or turning down 240M. I met one of the ketel one heirs the other night. Very nice guy, seemed to have his #### together . Was unendingly polite and was quite pleasant to be around. But according to some in this thread I shouldn't have quite the same level of respect for him as a guy that made his own money.
I'll take the money thanks.
You know people who would work fulltime earning ~$100k-$300k/year instead of taking $100MM? I find that very difficult to believe. To you.
