David Wilson in Dynasty (What are you guys getting for him now) (1 Viewer)

Hey David Wilson Dynasty owners. What are you getting for him now? I"m trying to get anything I possibly can. No such luck. He might even be droppable in my 24 team Dynasty league now. This Neck thing could linger and hover most of his career. So much talent. Such a waste.

I don't think he's droppable at all. He didn't need surgerry and I think that's a good sign. Jarvis Jones has the same condition and was just drafted in the first round.

I have him in my keep 5 league and plan to hold onto him, mainly because I'd have the option to keep him for little money next year.

I've noticed you often over-react tremendously, both positively and negatively, when you post questions/comments about your dynasty team. Just an observation.

Its just from what I've read this Spinal Stenosis thing (even if you don't have to have surgery) is nothing to mess around with. Last I checked football was pretty physical sport and the RB gets hit more then anyone. All it would take is one hit just right (On his neck) and his career is over. I don't think thats an overreaction for me to want to unload a guy when my bye week for Trades is Week 10.

I've haven't shopped him nor have I received any offers - not even dumb ones. Unlike Julio, when the crap offers were flying. Only thing to do is wait at this point.

You should read more. Jene Bramel explained this in depth. It depends on the severity of the spinal stenosis. If the narrowing of the spine isn't that bad it's negligible and not really that massive of a deal and something he could almost certainly play through. If the narrowing is severe however, he'd almost certainly be forced into retirement (e.g. Michael Irvin). So yeah, it'd be a little premature to unload him for 'just anything' he's still a very talented and young player on what will likely be a decent team again next season. I traded away a first round pick and Ahmad Bradshaw for him earlier this year (Week 3 I believe?) and I still have little issue with that trade. I'd have liked him to not get injured this season and instead had that breakout game vs Philly a lot of people thought he was going to have (and looked on his way to possibly having pre-injury). Irregardless though, signs point to him playing again, possibly even this season after the bye. So while he should have been dropped in redraft, he still has what I would consider significant dynasty value. And he may even be worth a speculative add in redraft going forward as there's a chance he plays again in Week 10 coming out of the bye.

I still have Wilson in several leagues, but I did trade him in one devy (includes college players) league. I traded Wilson and Finley for Todd Gurley RB Georgia.
