Deadly Animal Draft (1 Viewer)

Bagger's up with 2 picks. With only the Pygmy Hippo and The Beast From the East Tamara shoring up his land troops I think he needs to go with some size here. While there are no big destructive beasts left, there are a couple Nate Newton's out there that could anchor his line.

Who is up? Time limit? I feel like I havnt picked in ages!
Sandbaggers up with two picks. he gets an extra picka nd then all of a sudden he feels the need to disrespect the integrity of this draft by snubbing his nose at timely picks...

Sandbagger is on the clock. I saw him around earlier and he has never been close to late with a pick, so I ma going to cut him a little slack. Say another 15 min. or I will pick for him.
Man commish you sure love Sandbagger.

PAO - you have a nice avatar. I find it humurous that the part of the avatar the you so convienently cut out contained the typical badass Cassowary beating the crap out of 2 tigers  JAA

Instant Message just in from Sandbagger, he picks:

African Warthog

A 300 lb. plus pig like animal, black or brown in color, with coarse but sparse hair covering body. Its face is long with fleshy warts and protruding tusks.

This is probably the most intelligence of any creature in this draft. Certainly the only one wily enough to commandeer a vehicle while in captivity and risk a daring escape Full Story

I did it that way to scew the minds of the voters.

You know, I think I'm the only one here who has successfully assessed himself a penalty for no reason. Necrosis-inflamed penis? Hello? We can't talk a little more about this?

While anesthetized, no less. Nice moves, Warthog.

 Although they look fierce, warthogs would rather run than fight. - Just what you'd want for a death match.

Warthogs allow birds, such as the yellow hornbills, to eat parasites that live on their bodies. - Great, opponents will use his critter to perch on and mount attacks.

Sounds like a personal problem to me.

And for his next pick, sandbagger selects:The American Pit BullA vicous leader with nearly the intelligence of a dog.The media machine for this animal is unbelieveable. Despite jilling over 60 humans between 1979 and 1996 (Link, page 2), these dogs' propaganda machine paints a pretty picture Page .Just try doing a search for pit pull fights or attacks... you can hardly find anything, everyting is all about positive press. These guys could work for Bush if they were a little more transparent.
The Icy Hot Stuntaz will be proud.

Evidently his wart-filled, parasitc skin is a bird magnet, it could proved a mighty distraction to opposing aerial attacks.

Jeepers cos, still bitter that your friends in Florida can't read or don't have the dexterity and strength to push out a put cut piece of 5 mil thick paper.

while i appreciate the warthog (i was going to go with something similar) i can't have the pit bull as i need to fulfill the bird and sea creature category with my final two picks.i would like to have the sting ray if you please for my 2nd of the two picks.

The pit bull is a nice pick here IMO. Once it grabs onto to something it will not let go, sometimes even after death. Gotta love that attitude.

Done. Where the heck have you been?

Okay, Abandonned and unwanted team TLEF gets the pit bull. See write-up above.-----------------------------And I don't see where any of these other alleged bad-arses attacked and killed 60 humans between 1979 and 1996.

Pickings are getting slim. Last pick before bird and/or Russian Bride, could be the most crucial in the draft.Current queue:6.7 - Noodlefish 6.8 - the rover 6.9 - NCCommish 6.10 - PoolShark 6.11 - bigjay 6.12 - gorf 6.13 - pgreenfan 6.14 - Captain Hucklebuck 6.15 - Kovax 6.16 - truth 7.1 - truth 7.2 - Kovax 7.3 - Captain Hucklebuck 7.4 - pgreenfan 7.5 - gorf 7.6 - bigjay 7.7 - PoolShark 7.8 - NCCommish 7.9 - the rover 7.10 - Noodlefish 7.11 - TLEF316 7.12 - Sandbagger 7.13 - CourtJester 7.14 - Fast Eddie21 7.15 - The Goat 7.16 - PAO TEAM NOODLEFISH IS ON THE CLOCK

Noodlefish takes the Gaboon viper.

They are poisonous and deadly and they have two large venom glands. The venom is a powerful haemotoxin (destroys blood cells and vessels) and its venemous bite can kill a full grown human within 15 minutes or quicker. It is important to note however, that very few people have ever been killed by this beautiful snake.

Gaboon Vipers can reach an average length of 1.2 meters, but they have been found as long as 2.2 meters. These animals will weigh about 7 to 10 kg. Their head approximately 125 mm (5 inches) big and fangs almost 55 mm (2 inches). This gives it the longest fangs of any snake in the world. This snake has fangs that fold back against the roof of the mouth. It grips onto its prey until the animal is dead. It then swallows its food whole and can gulp animals as big as Rabbits. With age this viper grows a pair of large rostral horns. When threatened this snake makes a hissing sound while staying motionless.

The Gaboon Viper is the largest of the vipers and is one of three members of the African Giant vipers group. This group includes the Puffadder Bitis arietans, Gaboon Viper Bitis Gabonica, and the Rhinoceros viper Bitis nasicornis. East African Gaboons are smaller than their West African counterparts.

Look out.

i feel that i made an aggregious error not drafting a snake in this draft.oh well, a sacrifice had to be made to draft the pygmy hippo.

loli was at that site earlier.webmasters of random dangerous animals are going to be wondering why all their sites went down for a week span late november / early december.

I think venom and poison are too overrated. Even when humans get bit from the oh so poisonous snakes, they don't die right away, they have time to wander over to a hospital and get anti-venom. And the ones who do die live in the third world and don't have access to medicine and die in the beds, well after getting bit.Bite my Kodiak as much as you want. he'll just pick up the snake, rip off its head and use the lifeless body of the snake as a whip to lay a beating down on the other pathetic animals. The Kodiak could die from the bite, but that would be hours after the match was over, making the poison moot.

The Kovax family realizes that snakes, while nice to think about having 'poison', bear no real threat to some of the most ferocious and visous animals on the planet. What is a snake going to do when an elephant goes running all over like a steam roller over small pieces of rock ... answer: Not even noticeJAA

Personally, in this type of combat I see a snake as a likely ###-for-tat pick. The snake is going to get its teeth on somebody, but is likely to get crushed in the process. It's a vicious game we play, gentlemen. The thing is, when your 6th round snake takes out a first-round mammal, you're already ahead.
