Denarius Moore - CIncinnatti Bengals (2 Viewers)

Took Jacquizz Rodgers at 2.10 of a dynasty league last Sunday and traded for Denarius with the owner who drafted him at 3.03 who had Turner and Snellling. All aboard the Moore train!!!
Why didn't you just draft Moore in the first place?
That's what I thought. I figured I had to be missing something because it doesn't make sense.
Maybe he had buyer's remorse...so a few picks later he decided to trade Quiz and jump on the TRAIN! wOOt! wOOt!

I've seen four Raider WRs drafted this year and it makes little sense to me...are the Raiders going to Pass for 4000 yards all of a sudden???By comparison, the Cardinals will easily pass for more yards and there are only two Cards WRs getting drafted. This board has an obsession with Raiders WRs and it's weird.
Which WR, besides Fitz, has secured a starting spot for Arizona?

LHUCKsThe reason is simple. There is value in the Raider #1 WR that does not exist in WR#2 for Arizona. FItz will get the most catches; yards and TDs. Everyone knows that. Just like the Rams WRs....someone will be a great late pick up that goes for 70+ catches and 1000+ yards. No one knows who that will be though....so lots of people are getting every one of those top 4 WRs in the event that they are the lucky ones.

Rodgers is built like a mack truck. Potentially gonna regret that one.

Its time. :blackdot:
Heyward-Bey leaves practice with knee injuryby Eric Gilmore Starting WR Darrius Heyward-Bey left practice early Thursday with a knee injury. “We’ve got to get him in, check on him, see where we are,” Hue Jackson said. “Hopefully we’ll be OK.” Heyward-Bey said he didn’t know if he would have an MRI. “I’ll be all right,” he said. Oooh, was thinking of dropping Moore but w/ the DHB news, gonna hold another week (redraft league w/ weekly free agent period that ends Thursday nights, no waiver wire, blah, blah, blah)

Moore should be on the wire in most redrafts.

If Ford and DHB are out this weekend, Moore could be the guy to step up for some stats ahead of the Schilens and Hagan. Depends on whose hype you're buying.

 Perfect storm.

I know this is frowned upon, but Bey might be the single player I'd most like to see lose his job. I would love to see what Ford and Moore could do in that offense being the primary targets.

How many yds will there be to go around? I drafted Moore and dropped him for Decker. Even with Heyward-Bey injury, I dont see alot of production right now. Murphy will be back soon and resume his role. Great preseason. Hope I am wrong

(TheHuddle) Oakland Raiders WR Denarius Moore will likely start in Week 2 with the injury to WR Jacoby Ford (hamstring).

Analysis: Ford is ruled out, Louis Murphy (groin) is out, and Darrius Heyward-Bey (knee) is a game-time decision. The ultra-fast Moore will get his first NFL start across from Derek Hagan. Raiders HC Hue Jackson is a big fan of Moore's. "Wow! He's a tremendous young player," Jackson said on Aug. 10. "I mean when you look around, every time you look up, there's No. 17 making a play."

Interesting. Anyone in deeper leagues thinking about starting him in your flex spot this week? I'm debating putting him over Ingram (against Bears Defense) this week.

I've got the guy, but it feels like the early preseason hype has died down considerably (even that Hue Jackson quote was from 8/10) and I would really have to be hurting to start him. I hope I'm wrong and he breaks out this week with the injuries that have hit, but not holding my breath.

I'm on the fence. I could start Garcon or Mike Thomas but I don't like their matchup or situation. Struggling with the decision. The few plays on Monday Night, he looked out of place.

Yep, almost feels like a hail-mary type of play to insert him over some of the other guys likely available. I think I'm going with Gaffney (to go with Rexy at QB) to likely replace Holmes...

Murph will need at least a few games to get back in shape, and on top of that the sports hernia surgery that he had is an injury that tends to linger.:twocents:

Where does he fall this week in the rankings or tiers? Is he in the 30-40 range? Around the likes of the St L Wr's, Gaffney, Braylon Edwards or higher due to the opprotunity? I figure he will be close to where Ford was ranked close to WR #45 give or take. Just trying to get a feel but with so little to go on I guess it is all speculation at this point.

This is a tough call. Obviously someone will get some targets but I doubt the Raiders throw very much and I'm not sure Hagan doesn't have more value in this situation particularly in PPR.

:goodposting: It's the perfect week to start Moore given all the injuries on the Raiders WR corps, but Hagan looked terrific in preseason, and I think it's just as likely that it's Hagan that has the more successful day out there for the Raiders than Moore.I bet one of these guys is going to be a waiver wire darling next week. I really can't say which one, though.

Denarius just had his first catch. Don't want to make too much of one catch, but it was a sexy first catch. Campbell lofted one, Denarius made a leaping grab over a CB. A sweet play.

Moore is legit!!! 2 outstanding catches so far in the first half. Very impressive first catch battling for the jump ball..
