**Denver at Cleveland**(-1.5) O/U 40.5...The Bridgewater-Keenum Bowl TNF-Game Thread (1 Viewer)

Not to mention high winds and rain.   Looks very bad for the Browns offense.

Bad for my fantasy team.  Everyone on bye, I HAVE to play Patrick, Fant, and Javante.  Choochoooooooo

Either team going to crack 20 points?
No

Out of both teams, fantasy wise, who do you think has the best overall night tonight?

I think Keenum will surprise, but overall I think Tim Patrick is in for a big game.
Go with the keekers

Tornado warnings in Cleveland right now. #### weather, two bad offenses kinda point toward a defensive struggler. I stand by my earlier 6-3 predication.

Not supposed to rain much at all but wind looks a factor.  Fire up your running games.

Rolling with DPJ and Javonte Williams. I think both them will have 1 or 2 explosive plays

Well, maybe not DPJ if the wind is 20 miles per hour? It's not raining game time apparently

Von Miller is going to destroy the terrible backup tackles that he is going to face.

-------------------------

Aric DiLalla@AricDiLalla

Von Miller setting high standards this week for himself:

“I will play well in this game. ... I’m going to have a great game. ... I don’t know who the tackle I’m going against is, but I’m going to kill him.”

-----------------------

If he faces Chris Hubbard, he will kill him.
Jake Trotter@Jake_Trotter

Am told that Blake Hance is expected to get the start at right tackle tonight. That’s the side that Von Miller rushes from. #Browns

              👉 👉 LOL 👈 👈

As a Browns fan no idea how this team beats ANY other NFL team tonight.  QB out, both RBs out, both top WRs either out or very limited, OL banged up.

Without luck and/or many pass interference penalties, I dont see how the Browns score.  Defensive TD maybe??

Felton punt return or screen pass he houses.

This feels like a trap for Denver bets. Browns were thought to be a very deep roster coming into this season. Their backups are fresh and hungry and I don't expect them to lay down tonight. Denver's LB corps is decimated. Looking for a big night from D'Ernest and Demetric and for the Browns D to have their way with Teddy Two Gloves and his bum wheel.

been trying to convince myself of this and now it's looking like Landry is definitely in so more scoring for Cle than previously thought.

Anyone feeling Landry tonight?  Not sure I've got the stones given everything going against the passing game.

To say this game has the potential to be a total crapfest is seriously understating the situation.
Williams has been a solid 8-10-11 every week but I don't see anything that points to him really breaking out tonight.

9-6 either way is how this is shaping up right now. Heat-Bucks might be a better watch at point in this one.

Most yards rush/rec combined tonight?

Denver and Cleveland?

I'm going Sutton, Gordon, Williams in that order, Tim Patrick will do his usual 4/40 with a 50/50 shot at a TD but no more.

ODB and Landry are BOTH Active, try and get them the ball near the LOS and let them make plays. Keep the TEs in to help block. Maybe ODB has a surprise night.

Local Denver news just showed video of Teddy walking off practice field yesterday. Visible limp walking up steps. Beat writer Mike Klis estimates 70-75% mobility.

Cleveland had a red/stop color code and a numerical "30th" for run points against for fantasy. I don't see why this should be the night, but stranger things have happened.

Or maybe Gordon has one of his nights nobody ever can see coming but then it happens.

Last year he went 3 weeks without scoring (Wks 7-9 and 11-13) and people went to sleep on him and BOTH TIMES he scored TWICE!

Indeed. It's a timeshare against what is likely to be a stacked box all night. If Bridgewater can't move, can you think of how bad the Denver passing game will look? I bet they dare Teddy to beat them with him arm. You're talking about a decent run defense, at least for minimizing fantasy points against. But that could be because they're a team that's a passing funnel...

I don't know.

Some choices tonight at RB, I'll try and be quick.

Javonte Williams/Mel Gordon owners likely are trying to decide with maybe the likes of Alex Collins, JD McKissic, Devontae Booker, Khalil Herbert, Myles Gaskin, you know that horrible 20-30+ group.

I do think Collins is going to be fine for MNF vs the Saints, it's a home game and Seattle is going to make it their game of the year of they have any hopes of keeping things afloat until they get Wilson back...although i don't see them as Playoff contenders any more, I did sort of preseason but things have changed.

McKissic is all over the place and at that point you might as well start talking about Kenyan Drake, anyway he is going to repeat this week?

If you must choose between this pile this week, you might find softer defenses then you will in Cleveland.  As @rockaction was pointing out, Cleveland is like #2 vs RB and you got a split load or duties/touches, that's going to be a tall task for a guy like Williams to explode tonight. But Gordon has not been doing great of late either.

Cheers!

And on a night they need some running game, you'd love to think he could take 5 direct snaps and catch 4-5 balls, been a while since Landry has gottne me excited about his prospects but Mayfield has a lot to do with that, has turned ODB into a waiver wire WR at this point.

Keenum will be throwing the ball and you could see Landry nab 4-5-6 short balls tonight but I don't see him getting more than 40-50 yds, 60 tops, he just doesn't explode any more.

Buddy at the game says weather is ok...a little windy.

He is probably drunk and has never been good at using his words.

Au Contraire is in the house.  Took Cleveland ‐1.5 and over 40.

I'm stuck starting Cleveland defense, so 3 or 4 defensive TDs would be nice.

I am really looking forward to Troy Aikman's insights tonight into these outstanding two QBs. He's going to tell you how marvelous they are at the onset and share some things and words that he will eventually have to eat by the 3rd and 4th Q.

And the over under on Joe Buck cheesy attempts at humor?

Looking for a big night from Javonte. Sat Micah Kiser at the last second, but I think it's the right move. So much is unsettled at LB in Denver. They might run nickel with their top two ILBs out, though that personnel wouldn't make much sense if Cleveland is going to line up and run the ball.

Ah well. Here goes...

In the battle of former Vikings QB's, my money is on Keenum, despite all the injuries to the Browns. Broncos D is pretty banged up too, down both starting LBs, and I think the Browns pass rush keeps Denver from having many big plays.

I'll say Browns 20, Broncos 17.
