Denver at Indianapolis (1 Viewer)

Manning is obviously hurt
Agreed. He has looked off all night and the play calling is incredibly conservative.
Logged in just because I was thinking exactly thus. Something' definitely seems wrong. Anything beyond 15 yards us fluttering. Tons of designed passes to Moreno. Strange.
he got hurt on the safety
Just went back and watched it. Rough fall for someone with his history. I really hope it's not long term. He was great to watch. This is just..sad.

The problem with prime time games is now everyone wants to watch and have a opinion. Could it be the Broncos are just having a bad game? No one plays 16 perfect games. People relax.

Pretty sure vickerson gonna see a huge fine and maybe a suspension for cheap shotting satele on the pat

Cheap cheap move by vickerson... That's dog crap

Manning's passes look off, frankly he appears to be injured, and the play calling evidences this and is nothing like the past 6 games. If the play calling were a situational product of how the game was going, or Manning were simply making bad decisions then I wouldn't be worried.

This is a good point. Indy scored 9 points at SD on MNF, then came back on a short week to dismantle Denver. Makes sense.

'72 Miami Dolphins.
Agreed.

Challenge?
Nothing to challenge...he was going down on his own and lost the ball. easy call
He took two steps, both feet in, & made a football move swiping the cone
What game are you watching? He was stumbling as he caught the ball and lunged for the pilon as he was falling. He was CLEARLY going to the ground as part of catching it. Really was an easy one
UR arguing with LHucks FYI...

Decker went to the ground on his own to reach for the pylon, i don't think the catch took him to the ground. That's a td to me, and i'm rooting for indy

"Manning in the pistol"...Al, Mannng does not run the pistol, it's called the SHOTGUN!!!
He's getting confused.
Have you noticed this Flap? There is no more shotgun, everything is the pistol, its annoying. Statues like Manning do not run the pistol.
I think you're confused as to what the Pistol actually is. It's a formation that you can run the read option out of. It's basically just a shotgun look with the QB closer to the Center and the RB lined up behind him, sometimes out to the side. Like a compressed shotgun.Manning obviously is not running the read option out of the Pistol. But tons of teams are using the Pistol and not running RO.

Pet Peeve...

I hate that they call a 16 point game a 2 score game.
But... It is
Yeah....I have a hard time with that too 2 point conversion are only 51% propositions...meaning the chances of succesfully converting two of them in a row is only about 25%. Calling 16 points a 2 score game is therefore very misleading.

Looks like Von Miller plays better after toking on a spliff or two - not sure he's had any positive impact tonight
