 There's nothing new about Manning beating up on bad Ds or Denver choking in the playoffs.
again, admit it, you know these guys can beat your injured secondary next week.if troy brown and earthwind whatever are prominently involved, you guys are in trouble.

I wouldn't even play the starters in the second half. Put a load on the D's back and force them to carry it. They're going to have to next week.

At what point, realistically, do you pull starters from a playoff game? Do you even consider it or do you let them play?If IND's starters play the whole game, the Colts might score 60 points.
When the other team calls you "soft," I think it's perfectly fine to run up the score.
Agreed. I'd love to see the Colts drop 60 on these clowns.

You forget about Randall Gay.

Bonnie Bernstein: Skeletor, what do you tell these guys?Skeletor: To clean out their lockers. Is it Draft Day yet, Bonnie?

In all fairness to the Denver Defense, when you are playing the Colts, every team knows that your offense has to do something to take the pressure off your defense. I will be interested to see the time of possession stat because I bet the Colts have a 3-1 advantage. Denver is trying to pass on 1st down--incomplete. Then they run on 2nd down and get 5-6 yards. Then they have a 3rd and five and they can't convert. Punt. They needed and I say needed because it is too late now, to run and run and run and then use controlled passes to get 1st downs and control the clock. Instead every pass was downfield 15 yards. Thank god, HD network is running UFC and K-1 fights this afternoon....

After the Broncos' FG:Colts: 279 yards, 21 points = 13.29 yards per point.Broncos: 107 yards, 3 points = 35.67 yards per point.
Whoops! NEW numbers:Colts: 319 yards, 28 points = 11.39 yards per point.
First half:Colts: 394/35 = 11.26 (keeps dropping)Broncos: 103/3 = 34.33

Why, because Manning's on pace to beat the Broncos by more than he did last year before choking in New England? Manning's always really good against bad Ds, especially indoors.

Manning could easily break NVB's record of 554 passing yards today. Hopefully they let him play a few series in the 3rd quarter.

If the Colts felt that way inclined, Manning could probably beat the single-game passing yardage record in the 3rd quarter (194 short at the half).

As a Chiefs Fan, I love seeing the DOnkeys lose.Final score 56-10?
And exactly what do the Broncos fans think about the Chiefs sitting at home watching them play during the playoff?I'm sure that they love that! ..and don't go telling me that it's better not to have made the playoffs...we'll all know you're full of chit.

It's official: I am worried.Signed,MallRat Patriots fan
Considering this Colts machine shows no sign of letting up, and NE has played all of about 2 games against real competition (none in the last 2 months), this game may be the match of the playoffs. NE is going to have to stop those WRs at the line and pray for a big pass rush for 60 minutes.

"Johnny, what's the name of that quarterback the Steelers drafted? Roethlis-something. Nice pick, Cowhaaaa."I love that commercial.

"Kellen Winslow Jr. is the best thing to ever happen to Butch Davis." :wall:

Are the "Colts @ Patriots" and "Jets @ Steelers" threads up yet?
Can't wait for that 6-3 NYJ/Pit game. WooHoo, get out the beer and cocktail weenies for that

Or another Edge fumble at the goal line. That's the only thing that saved them in Week 1. I have a lot of respect for Belichick, but I think the best way to beat the Patriots this year is to attack them through the air. And nobody attacks through the air better than the Colts. Belichick will have his hands full trying to stop the Colts next week. Should be one helluva game.

It will be very interesting to see what the Broncos do in the off-season as far as Jake.I don't see alot of options out there for them, but I am wondering if they are going to pick up the option.

Rod Smith just keeps getting it done. He'll probably be under-valued again next season and have another productive season.

:bag: So much for Denver keeping it close. We'll have to wait another week for Peyton's choke.
Losing to a better team on the road is not choking.
Right, he didn't choke last year. What's surprising in this game is not the Indy O or Denver D, we knew Indy would score points in the majority of their drives. It's the fact that Denver has not run the ball effectively. That was the key going in. I thought they could run better on Indy, thus keeping the ball out of Peyton's hands, but with only 57 yards halfway through the 3rd quarter, this is where they're losing the game.

too bad he was my WR1 ALL season... that explains allot.
