Devin Thomas claimed by Giants (1 Viewer)

If he could be helpful to the Giants this season, get some PT later on, it'd be a nice way to audition for other teams.

But man, waived by the Panthers? He really must not be showing anything.

I would rather take barb wire and stick it in one nostril and then through the other one and move it back and forth than to pickup Devin Thomas. Now I was once a big fan of his.at one time, but........, what was I drinking?

I think his problem is between the ears, not talent.
Yep...I agree here. This kid has so much talent, but he either A. Does not get it, in terms of running out of opportunities, or B, He's as dumb as a rock. Maybe both. But he showed some flashes late last year.Call me a sucker I guess....

Talk about desperation. This bum couldn't see the field in Carolina.
I'm not so confident the brain trust in CAR knows what they are doing. Countless players look like garbage in an environment devoid of leadership and go on to succeed on well managed teams.

Yeah, remind me again where Kerry Colbert, Dwayne Jarrett, Drew Carter or any other wide receiver went on to become stars after they were dismissed from Carolina.

Well for one, those WR's were drafted by CAR, who haven't drafted a decent WR since Smith. At least Thomas was drafted by a different team, although WAS doesn't have a great track record there either. I'm just saying he could be one of those players with talent that needs good coaching to succeed (or maybe just a good QB), and the NYG is one of those places.

He "retired" today. I'm not sure what he retired from, exactly. 37 yards receiving the past two years combined.

Just wanted to point this out to make sure someone noticed.
