Divisional Round Game Thread - Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants (2 Viewers)

As an Eagle fans, these are my wishes for teh second haf:

The Eagles throw a lot of the underneath crossing patterns that worked so well to end the half.

The Giants continue to have to settle for three when they get the ball in the red zone.

Coughlin continues to save Jacobs for God-knows-what.

;) ........somebody better tell Coughlin that this is the freaking playoffs. You don't worry about injuries at this point. Jacobs is killing the Eagles right now and you have to give him more opportunities.

Let me get this straight

After the turnover Jacobs for 11 yards

Then Jacobs for 5 yards

Then no backs 0 yards

Then no backs 0 yards

FG

I totally understand why Buddy Ryan wanted to kick Kevin Gilbride's ### back in the day

WTF!!! Dumb Dumb Dumb play calling

Big turn of events once again. Considine and Demps come up big filling in for Asante Samuel and Mikell. Huge.

The Eagles need a pass rush.

Curtis makes a first down catch, though he didn't secure it right away.

I like the rhythm that the Philly offense seems to have right now. I still think this one's coming down to a big turnover.

So far, Runyon is manning up and handling Tuck, and this is the main reason McNabb is getting the time he needs. It's a heck of an effort, for the old, wounded veteran.

The Giants failure to score TDs means a huge play or questionable call could beat them, despite the fact that the Giants are playing a little bit better.

Critical drop by Curtis overcome by some nice plays. Excellent 3rd down conversions overall. Since the end of the half the Eagles O has turned it up a notch. Just waiting for the Westbrook play that is inevitably coming.

This time, it's the Eagles who can't finish a drive.

What a great game. It's still hard to get a read on who's going to win it. I feel exactly the same as I did all week.

Nice blitz by Mikell forcing a bad throw by Eli. Good to see QM back on the field. Excellent D try. Eagles have the ball w/ the wind in the 4th; huge if they go into that quater with the lead also. See how hard the kicking game is going the other way.
