Love this song, so much so, that I have a tattoo representation of it.Rather than get a bunch of nested quotes throughout the countdown, I'll just repeat my first post on this and add to it each time.

I don’t know how many songs are on Before These Crowded Streets, but if there’s 10, there’s my top 10. Would be an easy countdown for me.That's awfully low for Don't Drink the Water(it's top 5-ish for me), but tastes and all that, right?
Haha, I hear that! I can't go that far, as both Crash and Under the Table and Dreaming have songs that would easily be top 10 for me. Before These... is easily my favorite record for sure, however.I don’t know how many songs are on Before These Crowded Streets, but if there’s 10, there’s my top 10. Right! I don't know where I'd pit Don't Drink The Water on Before These Crowded Streets, but no higher than 3rd.I don’t know how many songs are on Before These Crowded Streets, but if there’s 10, there’s my top 10. Highly underappreciated song. Especially love this live version with the scatting intro. "Yeah yeah yeah yeah" then boom. Sometimes Carter gets into the scatting as well. This live version just cracks my top 20. Also has the "lovely ladies" contributing in the outro.Rather than get a bunch of nested quotes throughout the countdown, I'll just repeat my previous post and add to it each time. I've condensed into one list to tighten it up.

Yeah, that's criminal. That ever happen before? One of the things I love about living in NJ is that there's so much live music within driving distance. Back in the day, I used to catch a dozen+ dmb shows every summer all within a 6 hour driving distance. And that's when they also had a winter tour.No CA shows this summer tour is just ridiculous
Irvine closing that venue was stupid! No CA shows this summer tour is just ridiculous
I knew what this was gonna be before even clicking the link
I respect the time you’re putting in to do this, and to each their own. But there sure are some interesting choices here.

Sorry to hear about the change in plans but that's great news about the garden shows. I've really got back into them this summer and am excited to see some more shows. So this was supposed to be my first Gorge trip, sadly my son had to have foot surgery 4 weeks ago. He's still non-weight bearing so we had to cancel the trip. I should get most of my money back but not sure about all of it, sold N1 and N2 pits, still trying to sell my reserved for N3. Serious Davepression going to hit on Friday.
The positive is, we have a hotel booked for MSG in Nov for the rumored dates![]()
I have some covers that are definitely top 10 worthy. I also would have an intro that is a "tiny little song" top 10 for me, wish he'd expand on it.So what's still left thats top 10 worthy? Ants, Nancies, Jimi Thing, Granny, Say Goodbye, Best of What's Around, maybe Grace is Gone
It sounds like the fall tour will be east coast only, again. The announcement might be today or right after Labordave weekend.Sorry to hear about the change in plans but that's great news about the garden shows. Guess I am way into the DMB culture, this is what all my Dave friends have called it since it became an annual thing back the early 2000ssince they're usually playing at the gorge at that time, seems appropriateIt sounds like the fall tour will be east coast only, again. So what's still left thats top 10 worthy? Ants, Nancies, Jimi Thing, Granny, Say Goodbye, Best of What's Around, maybe Grace is Gone
If I made a list, my top 10 would include all of those with the exception of Ants Marching. I might also include Crush and maybe Dreaming Tree and TypicalSo what's still left thats top 10 worthy? Ants, Nancies, Jimi Thing, Granny, Say Goodbye, Best of What's Around, maybe Grace is Gone
Little hint there? So maybe that and So Much to Say might be in that 7 of yours? So 4 of the 7 I mentioned didn't even make the top 41. Ok. Its cool. This is your list. We're still friends. So what's still left thats top 10 worthy? Ants, Nancies, Jimi Thing, Granny, Say Goodbye, Best of What's Around, maybe Grace is Gone
You named 3 of my remaining 7 songs here. Maybe you guys aren't going to like the top of my list too much...
Only Best of What's Around is in my top ten I listed above but most would be in the top 20. Nancies wouldn't make the 20 and Ants while a very fun song was just so played so often that it kind of wore on me. There's just so many good songs to choose from.If I made a list, my top 10 would include all of those with the exception of Ants Marching. I might also include Crush and maybe Dreaming Tree and TypicalSo what's still left thats top 10 worthy? Ants, Nancies, Jimi Thing, Granny, Say Goodbye, Best of What's Around, maybe Grace is Gone
Situation. We have not seen quite a few of the other radio hits (Space Between, Where Are You Going, What Would You Say). I probably would not include most of those but I wouldn't fault anyone if they did.
