lol what? Martin was along for the ride and bailed when the going got touch, he used all the stuff he was a part of as an out.
KC you're either being willfully blind or trolling at this point, the jig is up on Martin all the evidence is there.
Careful, Chuck is going to have to auto correct you for your mispellings.
Sorry, I haven't seen any proof that supports either side definitively. Both sides have texts, both sides have locker room witnesses. The facts we do have are from a sexual assault case and a Dolphins employee being harassed. Either way, not enough to make a decision.
Missing what the sexual assault case has anything to do with Martin being a crybaby hypocrite.
Establish a pattern of misconduct by Incognito and to a lesser degree the Dolphins organization. Things like this could be used to build a case.
True that this could be used to build a case, and that an attorney will likely do just that. However, what an attorney would use to build a case does not necessarily reflect the reality of a situation. It reflects their desire to win a case. Does that incident really have anything to do with Martin's claims that he was bullied in your mind? Does it diminish in any way the claim that Martin is a crybaby hypocrite? Seems like a weak foundation to me personally.
Here is a good example. You start out with a thoughtful and intelligent statement, then follow it up with Martin being a crybaby hypocrite.
What facts do you have that he is a hypocrite?
When I bashed Incognito as being a meatheaded jerk, I had years of history to draw from. Since this story broke, things haven't gotten better for Richie, they've only gotten worse.
As far as winning a case. I agree, there are different ways to win, doesn't always need to be correct. But at this point, there is no case. And we can't even establish what is fact and what is fiction.
Here is a good example of what?
Crybaby hypocrite was the term thrown out there that you posted a response to. I was just re-quoting it.
As far as evidence of his hypocrisy:
1. He threw his meatloaf on the floor after a lunchroom hazing and quit the team. He participated in the same haze of Nate Garner the week prior.
No problem here, this falls into the realm of rookie hazing. You are making a giant leap that this is the reason he left the team. This may have been the tiny straw that finally broke him.
2. He complained (
through is attorney) that he didn't approve of the strip club meetings. We are seeing clear evidence that he didn't feel all that strongly about it...and seems to actually be enjoying it.
We have also heard that the strip club meetings were mandatory. If a player didn't attend, he was subject to a fine. I think most people would disapprove of this type of workplace behavior. It wasn't that Martin disapproved of strip clubs, or strippers. He was making the best of the situation that he was forced to deal with. Did it make him a better player? I doubt it and he may have taken issue with that part of it.
3. He complained about raunchy texts. In context, we all seem to agree that they were not intended as harmful, and from what we can tell, he gave it back as god as he got it.
We don't have the context of either of the players texts. So we don't know if they were of a harmful nature. Hopefully the NFL will give more insight into this when the report is released.
4. I don't recall the details, but I remember some story about him participating in rookie hazing where they moved a players bed outside while he was out for the night. Yet he sues the team over hazing?
Again, rookie hazing is alright with me. As long as it's kept within reason. We both agree the Cam Kleeland situation is over the line. We don't know what happened in regards to Martin's claim of physical abuse. We have zero facts either way on this subject, but some continue to call him a hypocrite, or wuss, or whatever.
