A combination of both. I hated drafting stud redraft teams and then losing all the players the next year. But by the same token, in a redraft you can draft almost whomever you want (as long as you can tolerate your league mates making fun of you for reaching.) Like for example, I loved Turner this year but didn't want to pay the price he commanded in most of my FBG leagues (most people were commanding top 3 picks or basically starting stud caliber prices) but I was able to get him in the 3rd or 4th or even 5th round of my redrafts.
I think a combo of the two makes for a lot of fun.
dynasty is way more interesting IMO...i hate that in redraft my hard work and research doesn't pay off the next season
for instance i picked up antonio bryant in the 19th round of my dyno this year, would hate to be rewarded with the privilege of having to drop a fourth rounder on him next year
I enjoy both equally as well, with Dynasty you get the long term building enjoyment and there is usually a lot more interaction among League members, whereas with a redraft there's the fun of the full team draft itself ... for me the most fun part of the game.
Dynasty by a mile as well. Although I did used to really like the redraft "draft" when we actuall had it local and all league members could show up. That 1 night was a blast.
But dynasty leagues are tons of fun all year long. I enjoy strategizing and trying to make offseason trades, scouting college players for the rookie draft and such is about as much fun as actually setting lineups week to week and checking scores.
I'm really trying to get into a dynasty salary-cap/contract league. I think that sounds like the ultimate fantasy setup.

After playing in redrafts for over 10 years, I find I'm ready to ditch them once and for all for reasons like the one above. Never played in a dynasty league, but I find I'm tired of having to hit the reset button after each season.
Dynasties certainly for the reasons that others have stated. However, Dynasty leagues can get a little stale especially if you know that your team is unlikely to compete for a championship going into the year. Rookie drafts are a bit hit or miss (check out the "experts" rankings heading into the 2008 Rookie draft).
Redrafts, do involve a bit more random luck due to injuries, etc. However, every year I have a strong positive and negative view on man different players. Redrafts allow me to express those views in player selection and WW claims and I usually can field a playoff caliber team every year.
