Really liking this team. Hock was a smart recovery - Bowers is a little rough to count on, but week ~7 on you’ll be fine. Good play short term.

I am typically a keeper/dynasty manager but decided to jump into a cheap/local redraft to get my son, age 9, a chance to play fantasy. He turned to me mid-draft and said, I am going to have to watch a lot more football this year. It sounds like we will have a year of bonding in our own misery.
This draft left me scratching my head, mostly because I let my kid call some of the shots and had me taking a QB earlier than I anticipated but we pivot.

Same. I don’t mind the other build but you’re right, it’s not as deep.
The 1st one posted is my last of 3 NFFC online champ teams drafted last night. Not only has ADP risen for my sleepers, but being after cut day wised people up so they’re not taking scrubs I didn’t want any more. It was a much more challenging draft. That said, it’s my best TE (McBride) and QB (Dak) of the 3. I think it’ll compete, but Gus Edwards missing time would be helpful. I do like Rome on the bench at WR4 though. He should help.
The 2nd is my best team. Every player I wanted seemed to fall to me - the the late value at WR with McConkey & BThomas was absurd. Shocking depth at RB too considering. That’s my best team for sure.
I’ll post up the 1st team I drafted too. It’s not great. Timed out and auto picked Hollywood for me in the 7th. Not terrible, but not ideal when I needed a RB there.

First, I love that you & your kid drafted together.
That said, this team will hunt. I don’t love your WR past ARSB, but Hurts comes at a price. And THAT said, love/hate doesn’t matter if they put up points, and while not pretty I think these guys will. Jamo should be your WR4 over Coleman.

It was pretty cool to see him get excited about drafting. Talking about who we have ranked through the first 2 rounds, during bedtime. He's 9 and was pretty lost after about round 8 but it was great.
It's a 12 team league.
I realize we are betting on Pickens, but your buddy Aiyuk going to the Steelers will have us waiver wire hunting sooner than later.

I'm confused as to the Bijan + for Chase. I took Bijan over Chase just last night because of how long his holdout has gone on can lead to soft tissue injuries. I can understand liking one over the other, but I feel like overall you made your team weaker in that you already had two top 10 wr in sun god and abj and now are forced to roll out mixon at rb2 instead of having him and Higgins at flex.Update: dealt Bijan + AT Perry for Chase.

4. Getting Chase Brown gave me some breathing room to revisit the Chase owner’s suggestion last year that he was interested in Bijan.
That was the logic that went into it.
We all take a different approach. I’m actually fine with Mixon as my RB2, and have Monty as my flex. I’m pretty high on Mixon this year. 1200/7, 50/300/3 seems reasonable ceiling (spitballing)
This is a start 10, no K, no D/ST. Right now my starting lineup is 2 QB, 3 RB, 4 WR, 1 TE
So both Higgins & Monty are starters. I still have Brown on the bench.

There are 6 simultaneous drafts of 12 teams. You can trade in between drafts. Only restriction is you can't roster the same player more than once. Team is top heavy, but you only start 6 total (RB/WR/TE).

Your IDP guys must really stink to acquire Murray, Nabers, Higgins, Javonte from the 1 hole. Najee/Warren is a nice coup.

Week 1 I'll be starting Ford over Robinson, but I'm still very undecided at QB. I think Daniels is going to hit right away, I really do.

Actually no - I’m just a bargain hunter. I went 9 straight offense picks & then took Queen & Spears. The defensive run started in the 5-6-7
And it’s 3RR.
Murray was my 9th round pick, the 9th QB off the board.
I went in with a committed plan to go at least 9 offensive players before touching defense.
I actually love my defense.

I was shocked I could do it. Went Najee ~> Spears, then couldn’t not take Warren in the 14th

Probably been in this league for 15 years. I think the most identical players I've ever faced was 3 of 9 once. Rarely it's 2 of 9. Most weeks maybe half my matchups will contain one identical play. We switched to all play this year to eliminate the chore of creating a schedule.
Feel like I **** the bed this year. Everyone saying how RB's are being undervalued even in full PPR and WR depth is good so I went RB/RB with my picks. Picking 4th in 10 team Full PPR with vanilla ESPN PPR scoring (4 for TD pass, 6 for TD catch or run, 1 point for catch, etc...)
Start QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/Flex/DST/K. Took Hall at 1.04, but maybe should have done Lamb as Tyreek went 3rd. In the 2nd round I felt Pacheco was the next best available player. The WRs here I felt were overvalued (Olave/Evans/etc) and I could get a comparable one in the 3rd.

You’re being way too hard on yourself. Monty / LaPorta is fine. When LaPorta helps run up the score, Monty will be there to salt it away. When LaPorta gets dragged down at the 2, Monty will be there to punch it in.
I never worry about having multiple players in a great offense. You want more pieces of that, not fewer.

Ps - I would never have been able to pass up Lamb at 1.04 in a million years.
