Extreme example of car window scraping laziness (1 Viewer)

Car drives by at 40 mph yesterday while I'm at the bus stop with the kid, front window was covered with ice and snow except for a small dinner-plate opening for the driver to peer through, back window a total sheet of snow, side windows were partially frozen, enough for me to see a male driver and a female passenger in front seat, she was sitting upright and looking ahead like everything was normal even though I'm sure she couldn't see anything.

I didn't know what to make of this, even my kid was confused, I'm not sure if this was an example of extreme laziness hoping for the heater to clear everything while underway, or intentional as a way to prevent the passenger from constantly commenting on the guys driving.

I'm thinking maybe they couldn't afford a scraper because their car loan payments are too high.
