Over the Edge is a classic. One of my longtime friends and I still joke around sometimes with a couple lines from this movie.
Yep. It would be running away with this poll if more people had seen it.Over the Edge is a forgotten classic. Such a great film.

I remember it being the first great teen rebellion movie of the time. It came out in '79, and I think all of us teens could relate to it in one way or another. Good music in it too with Cheap Trick, The Cars, The Ramones, Van Halen, etc.Todem said:Such a great flick. Also very unknown. I really enjoyed that a lot.Over the Edge is a classic. First time I saw it was on cable tv in 1982. It was in rotation on an old premium channel called Spotlight. I was home sick for a week with strep throat and probably watched it 4 times in a week.I remember it being the first great teen rebellion movie of the time. Also came in here to post Beautiful Girls. Nobody my age (mid-20's) that I know has ever even heard of it though.Beautiful Girls, easily.

I'm with you there. Kristy McNichol, by comparison, was way too butch - even though I didn't even know what butch was at the time.Of those listed, Little Darlings because my adolescent self had endless wood for Tatum O'Neil.
Ditto on both counts.Beautiful Girls, easily.

Well, that was an odd movie. Where did Uma go? Why was Portman the most appealing girl in the movie? So many questions...zamboni said:They are great in it. So abrupt, everything. Plot gaps. I still thought it was good. I liked it, I just would have liked tighter writing, I guess.Uma went back home to her boyfriend. Not yet. I just got through a weird, guy-oriented rom-com. I don't think Rumblefish is happening, S.E. Hinton or not.Outsiders, but mention of Rumblefish yet?
This on all counts.Apple Jack said:Definitely Drugstore Cowboy, but Beautiful Girls is a good one. Pretty funny in Something About Mary.
