low 140's, with Palmer, Henry, and Welker left.

I figure, Henry or Welker will outproduce Berrien by 10 points, so I should be in the 150's barring a huge game by Palmer (replace Garrard?) and Henry.

####### Addai and Gates + injuries to Holmes and Jacobs will probably knock me out.

Then again, I barely made it in last week, so having the chance to make it to the 250 is still nice.

eta: given the field conditions tonight, I'll be completely shocked if Henry or Palmer do well enough to improve my total.

I am at 150 and dealt the same hand with Palmer(-24.3), Henry(-8.9) and Welker(-8.4). My chances are slim, hopefully Henry gets 2 scores tonight. Gates , Hanson/J. Brown killed me. Josh Brown last year knocked me out this same week last year by kicking something like 5 fg in the snow on monday night and this year he will be my doom because he missed an easy 40yder.

:banned: here's to hoping you make it in with plenty of points to spare.

Ouch. Favre and Garcia killed me this week. Sitting at 135.6 plus Derrick Mason (-10.4). Oh well, I knew it couldn't last forever. Good luck to all those who advance!

Checking this week's scores out, most of the bigger numbers posted were either by medium popularity players or QB's. Only AD and Crayton hit good numbers of the 150+ owned club (excluding QB's). I would expect this week's cut to be very similar to last week's very average cut number for a 50% cut week. Low 160's is still a fair guess. Welker himself could launch the cut this week, but then again he had a huge number last week to get the cut into the 160's. Welker, McGahee, Henry,FWP and Housh are the last of the big hitters left with significant impact (>50 owners and likely to score big).

I sure hope you are right. I'm at 162.3 with Welker (-10.4) to go.

Should take 160ish to move on this week. That said, I'm sitting on 146 right now...with basically only Welker-9ish and McGahee-7ish left to go. thank you to AD for making it back into the scoring column this week, Bush is dropping turds for me today!
177.6 thanks to a big push at the end of the afternoon games. Ended up with McGahee -9.2 and Welker -9.1. 177+ has me dancing the happy finals dance! Anyone else from last year's finals locked in this year?
Last year I made the final cut to 500 but did not do much from then on. This week with my score of 179 plus Welker (10.4) I feel pretty confident of making the final cut. I also like my chance the next three weeks to at least finish in the top 100. The really funny thing is that when S Jax went down for a few games I thought I would be done. I think what has saved me is that the only selection that I made that is now injured or not plaing is Lamar Jordon. The remaing players on my roster are all alive. Hopefully peaking at the right time.

Im 3 points above the cut. Closest I've been going into MNF... :sadbanana:

On the other hand, I still have Welker (-6) and McGahee (-8) to go. That, together with the fact that Brady and Moss are only owned by ~3% of the teams remaining gives me hope that I may pull through this week...

Ugh. 131.3 with Welker (-3.2) left. Looks like the end of the line. Not a good week to have Lynch AND A-Train out and have Bush, Evans, Houshmandzadeh, and Winslow all turn in stinkers the same day.

I am done and sitting at circa 148.7 - going to be another tight one and I don't see myself making it. :goodposting:

:nervously hoping, but thinking it is a lost cause, for a defensive struggle of biblical proportions this evening:

Unofficial: if there were no MNF, the 250th-highest score would be 146.15
That gives me an 11.8 point cushion going into tonight. No players left.I will be the only Pat's fan rooting for a defensive game tonight at the bar. What is the normal movement for MNF game?

what's the largest swing that has happened this year for monday night?
Seems to be the question of the hour...I think I'm closer than I thought I'd be, and it might be tight tonight. I'm sitting at 141.9 with McGahee and Welker tonight. They've gotta replace Addai and Pope for me to have a chance. Here's hoping the Ravens use McGahee out of the backfield a LOT tonight and the Ravens try to take Moss out of the game, leaving Welker open underneath!

With 70% of the teams having Welker, I don't like your chances, sorry.

I think this aptly describes what the Ravens D will experience tonight.

At 163.9 with Welker and Demetrius (-12.7) ... If I can make it through I would think I would be among a small % of Gates owners that do.

Here are the cut movements from Monday to Tuesday. Which I last updated in week 11 a few pages ago.

Code:
	Monday	Tuesday	Diff
Week 2	126.15	128.30	2.15
Week 3	124.20	131.50	7.30
Week 4	101.70	113.40	11.70
Week 5	90.85	102.30	11.45
Week 6	113.05	118.70	5.65
Week 7	118.45	125.95	7.50
Week 8	112.90	118.00	5.10
Week 9	133.20	148.15	14.95
Week 10	117.30	121.15	3.85
Week 11	147.85	152.15	4.30
Week 12	161.90	163.05	1.15
Week 13	146.15	???
Highest swing was 14.95 pts - lowest was 1.15 (last week) and the average is 6.83. So that puts the final number between 147.3 and 161.10. If you are above 160 at this point you are probably headed for the top 250.

And here are the guys going tonight (most at least and all the big guys) with the number owned.

Code:

Kyle Boller $3 0.2	1

Wes Welker $3 71.1	356
Demetrius Williams	$3 16	80
Mark Bradley $3 0.8	4
Derrick Mason $11 1.4	7
Donte Stallworth	$14 4.4	22
Travis Taylor $1 1.8	9
Randy Moss $27 2.6	13
Mark Clayton $25 0.4	2

Ben Watson $15 3.8	19
Todd Heap $26 0.6	3

Matt Stover $3 7.5	38
Stephen Gostkowski	$4 2.8	14

Unofficial: if there were no MNF, the 250th-highest score would be 146.15
sitting at 145.15 with Welker(-9.2) left and thats it....not sure how much of a chance I have with so many other Welker owners...what do you all think?edit to add in this contest Welker is averaging about 19.5 pts game. If he got his average that would put me at 155.3 pts....not so sure that will be enough this week LOL

You know I hate to say it, but since I'm already assured of making the cut (198+), I'd really like tonight's game to be bad bad bad (and because I can't watch MNF on regular TV). I have Welker but I'd LOVE to get the Brady owners out of this contest along with the Moss and other Welker owners :coffee: .

I need the money !!! But good luck anyway.

Yeah, what he said

As a Shaun McDonal owner, if Roy had to go down this was pretty good timing. I own Roy in two other leagues and have really been looking for a way to put him on my bench. With Roy's injury my decision is now made. I think all Furrey and McDonald owners will benefit who are left in the contest.

Someone posted in the main pool that the wids are supposed to be very strong tonight. As a non-Brady or Moss owner, and a comfortably totaled Welker owner, I couldn't have asked for a better forecast  . Well besides torrential downpour and sloppy sod.

Cut movements tonight is probably going to highly depend on how many Welker owners are safe. If a high majority are out, cut could rise quite a bit. If a high majority are in, I would only expect McGahee to push the number up (being the other popular expected to score well player tonight). Put a gun to my head for an answer and the cut likely goes up by Welker's score -8 to 10 if he posts over 15, 3 to 6 if not.

After checking the wind figures I went over and bet the under on the game tonight. 47 1/2.

I am at 150.25 with Welker(-8.4), I dont feel too good about my chances, but without Welker I wouldnt have a shot to at all to survive. Good luck to everyone that made it this far, it has been one hell of a contest.

I actually had 144.9 before tonight...You da man Willis :lmao:

how's that working for ya? probably about the same as my chances of surviving this contest. :(

For 59 minutes and 16 seconds it was great. Oh well.

Thank goodness as a Welker owner I did not need anything from him tonight. I have a feeling that a few Welker owners are history after tonight.

#336 in all of FBG-land.

If Jacobs had returned this week, I would have had a chance, Gates and Addai did me in.

Good luck to those remaining. Here's to next year's contest.

Woohoo - pulled it out.  :bye: :pickle:

I was kind of hoping for fewer Welker and Holmes owners to make it through but I'll take it!!

Finished in the top 300, close but not quite good enough for the final 250. Missing out on Welker hurt me, although not this week. I just needed one of the WR to have a HUGE week and it did not happen. TJ, Toomer, and Evans all scored points, but no one had that big game for me.

FWP has been a dissapointment as was the $ 23 on spent on McCallister.

I was a lot of fun and BOL to the remaining 250!

In order to win this thing, those of us with different options at QB really need Brees and Garrard to lay eggs down the stretch.

Since they're each owned by about 50% of those left, if those two play poorly then it's all of a sudden a 100 man contest rather than a 250 man contest.

My team is really strong and healthy, but I'm afraid it's not going to be unique enough. Most of my key players are owned by 20%+ of everyone left.

Only Addai and Gates are likely to be true difference makers for me (and the Burner if he somehow lucked into some significant carries).

Peyton Manning, Garrard, Harrington

Addai, Peterson (MIN), McGahee, Turner

Holmes, Welker, Curtis, Bryant Johnson, Henderson, Crayton, Henry, Kennison

Gates, Johnson

Lindell, Folk, Rackers

Miami, Denver

Maybe I am reading the list wrong by Drinen (couple of posts up), but the largest owned player of live remaining teams is only 6.4% (Terrell Owens).Where are you getting 20%+?

I scored 170+ and had big weeks from Wayne and SJax (also have AD).

6.4 is the percentage of entries into the contest at the beginning of the year who are still alive with TO (i.e. 6.4% of teams who "drafted" TO are still alive).16.6 is the percentage of entries still alive who have TO on their team (i.e. out of the 250 remaining teams, 41 of them have TO on the squad).
