FBG Ultimate Survivor - Round 2 Draft Orders (1 Viewer)

What's taking you so long, Kleck? You are lagging behind.....and at a competitive disadvantage.
Yeah, I was hoping to have it done today, but Thursdays are usually the only day I get anything done. I'm worthless on Monday and Friday because I believe in 4-day weekends, so screw work. Then on Tuesday and Wednesday I have to check the waiver wire and get my bids/FA moves submitted plus other various fantasy things and net surfing. Tuesday is only half day anyway since the restaurant down the street has an awesome Taco Tuesday bar. After washing that down with Coronas and Margaritas I'm not in the mood to focus on anything but 'Who's Hottest' polls.

While I tend to agree with you that the bottom picks provide a slight advantage right now, each person still has to make the right picks of players. During a 16 game season, things can change drastically. Some players blow the first 4-5 weeks and then turn it on. We saw that with LT last year. Other players come out the gate hot, then level off. That happens every year with McNabb.

Plus, with drafting after 5 weeks, there is no "ADP" right now to guide the uninformed. It is all about knowledge and personal strategy rather than someone else having spoonfed you on who to draft at what point.
 This leg will be the toughest by far. There is no ADP data. Most, BUT NOT ALL, players will have a bye during the period. Cheat sheets and projections from pre-season hold limited value, yet no cheetsheets are available to cover JUST the next five weeks. While the 250 forward is nice, we don't care about the last five weeks. Injuries matter more then normal. To put it simply, there are far fewer "crutches" to lean on for this draft then in any other draft most of us will have ever participated in. The relatively short 5 week window magnifies any potential mistakes.

Truthfully, 'Ultimate Survivor" is the perfect name for this contest, and I'm stoked to be a part of it no matter how badly I whoop the second round competition! :wall:

O...How many leagues are there that draft for this specific 5 week window? i suppose someone drafting late Saturday can ride on the coat-tails of those who blazed the earlier trail, buit if three whole drafts cmprises your "ADP data", that's pretty sad :)

I'll have my 5 week cheetsheet - accounting for byes, SOS, remaining FP (based on my projections),etc. - finished before I leave work tomorrow.
Mine's almost done. :wall:

I'm going in with only my memory for this one. I will be using no cheatsheets or lists of any sort. I make myself available to be viewed by webcam during the draft. I will be wearing a blindfold sitting above a tank of parahna wearing a suit made of meat.

you mean some guys actually go into these things with a strategy? Who knew?

So any Friday guys want to switch to the late saturday draft? I'd be willing to split my $500.

Can someone post the WCOFF scoring system please?
Can someone please explain how to wipe my ### please?
:blackdot: Remove your head?(I can't access most FF sites from work, GB.)
QB-4 pts passingPPRQB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE/Flex/PK/DefStWhat else do you need to know?
Stuff like 1/20 passing and 1 PPR for WRs only is helpful to know.
What do you mean PPR for WRs only? The rules make it look like it's WRs, RBs and TEs (or anyone who catches a pass). Am I wrong? Isn't it PPR for all positions?

Depends on what kind of strategy you're talking about. I mostly just wing it through drafts, and pick up the value that others let fall.
I drafted in Round 1 from a small apartment we were living in while waiting for our house to be built,I had no cheatsheets and my only fantasy mag was packed away. I was watching a 13" analog TV and whenever my turn came up I looked at who was near the top on the computer and made my pick. Half my team was on bye in week 4, Levin made a comment that I had too many players and too many points unavailable to last past that week, that's the week my team scored it's highest total of the round. Now we're in the new house. But I'm not going to mess with Karma,I'll be drafting sans cheatsheets,I'll put that same 13" in the den and flip the baseball game on. When I hear I'm up next I'll take a look and make a pick. Full speed ahead and damn the bye weeks. That's my strategy.

PPR for kickers only.
Glad I could give you a comedy stage. But seriously, is it PPR for everyone or was the poster correct about PPR for WRs only?
PPR for everyone.
Thanks very much.

Totally my bad. I read that completely wrong. Thanks for clarifying.

How do I go about setting up an auto draft? I may or may not be able to participate tonight, so I may need to do the auto draft thing. That being said, I may be able to participate for some of the draft, so would it be possible to manually draft for a few rounds, then auto draft the rest? How is this accomplished? Thanks.

If you can make the 9:00PM Saturday draft I'd have no trouble switching with you,we're both in the 2 hole so it would be quite painless,if it's allowed.Clayton? Is it allowed?

:shrug:The butt wiping instructions are still available. Might save you another "my bad" moment.

Rest assured...I'd come up with a witty retort if I didn't have all this egg on my face. :DJUST YOU WAIT!

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Bobby Sac will be posting my picks to the league chat room for the commissioner to enter for the early part of the draft. I will be toasting a departed friend. Thanks BobbySac!

You look strong at RB..Sjax/Lynch, could be nice, also could be meh, but I tend to be optimistic. Not sure about your WRCutler in the 5th, are you kidding? I thought he was doing pretty well this year. I understand the bye week but you are going to have 2-3 QBs anyways...nice pick EBF!!!

I'd like Idiot Boxer to come in and chat about his selections...the 1st couple were pretty questionable if you ask me...Eli in the 1st when Portis was still on the board...

I'm not sure how your draft preferences work at MFL, but I ended up with only one TE... despite having my draft preference for TE in 2 rounds... very disappointed in everything after round 8 or so :no:Family came into town and I had to bail...
