Dump Finley?

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel suspects Jermichael Finley could lose snaps to D.J. Williams this year.Williams has had a strong training camp, but we doubt his increased role will be enough to have a major impact on Finley's fantasy output. Williams is more of an H-back type valued for his versatility and reliable hands.

Just dropped him in all my leagues.

HTH. Good luck with the :fishing:

Obviously people aren't going to drop Finley, but I think there's certainly at least a little bit of cause for concern here. Finley's been a relative disappointment for Green Bay recently (talking real NFL football, not fantasy football), with his inconsistent play, lack of focus, and downright stupidity on the football field last season. DJ Williams isn't lacking for talent. While I suspect that Finely won't be impacted substantially by Williams, there remains the possibility that the Packer staff grows tired of Finley's play and gives Williams more PT.

It would be nice to have seen Finley on the field this preseason to work through some of the issues that plagued him last season, that's for sure.

I wouldn't doubt Williams could have a small impact.

Young and they like him.

Also remember Finley signed a 2 year deal structured that they could cut him or deal him after this year and cost them nothing but this year's salary.

I could easily see Williams showing them enough that they trade or let Finley walk.
