I have several, but the prices seemed good for them (probably because they were set before camp). Besides, the biggest issue with rookie WRs is lack of consistency, and I don't need that.  I have some solid vets for that, all I need from the rooks is occasional big games, so it's a risk I'll take.

Expect Metcalf to be pretty highly owned but was thinking Lockett would be higher on the ownership %. Two rookies is risky but the reward and value is worth it. I actually had both Renfrow and Ruggs on the team at one point before settling on Edwards. Almost added Diggs but decided to go less unique at this position. Forgot to add that I love KJ Hamler and had him on the team for a long time, but a rookie WR with a hammy issue is too much for my alma mater love to overcome.

Newton is overpriced in this scoring system.  Like the Foles/Trib play.  4 QBs is too many IMO.  Love the RB strength here, but Hunt and Dobbins were likely overpriced.  10 more bucks and you have a stud.  Metcalf eats to many donuts for my liking and I don't think Sutton is all that.  Love all the other WRs picks.  TE is strong enough for one score.  don't like not having a 3rd defense.

I always go cheap at QB--just can't see spending the big bucks for them.  If Ben is as healthy as he says and can play the whole year (admittedly, a huge "if"), he should put up top 10 or better numbers with all the options he has to throw to. Carr is a cheap reasonable insurance policy. I had Cousins as a 3rd QB for a long time, and found myself thinking that I'd rather have Fitz or Tua than him  if I knew they'd be the starter. Realized it was only $1 more to have both of them than Cousins so I went that way.

Originally had Conner and Snell instead of Hunt, but when the Gibson hype blew up, I decided I needed to add him (as a defensive move if nothing else). Couldn't risk 3 week 8 byes, so I reworked into the above. Thompson was a last minute add (dropping Claypoole) because I felt I needed another option there. Overall, pretty happy with them--no shared byes and some chances for big scores.

Ridley just looked like a huge bargain, with top 10 potential at a discount price, so I've had him from the beginning. The values seemed to me to be in the $12-18 range, so I grabbed as many of them as I could squeeze in.  As I said above, I went from 9 WRs down to 8 at the last minute, justifying it with the fact that only 2 of the 8 share a bye (Week 10) and even that isn't too bad because none of my RBs or TEs have byes that week, lessening the pressure to get a flex score or two from WRs.

I'm a firm believer that TEs are key with the 1.5 ppr. Good TEs score the same as WRs with much higher cost. So, I always want at least 2 big scorers there. Hoping Waller and Gesicki meet that desire. Wanted Goedert as #3, but didn't like the things the $2 difference did in other places.

For the first time, I actually played around with taking a top kicker; they're actually pretty reasonably priced this year and it would have only been $3 more to replace Boswell with one of them. In the end, though, I couldn't convince myself that the $3 was better spent doing that than in having MVS or Edwards.

Newton is overpriced in this scoring system.  Like the Foles/Trib play.  4 QBs is too many IMO.  Love the RB strength here, but Hunt and Dobbins were likely overpriced.  10 more bucks and you have a stud.  Metcalf eats to many donuts for my liking and I don't think Sutton is all that.  Love all the other WRs picks.  TE is strong enough for one score.  don't like not having a 3rd defense.

I think Newton is cheap because I'm looking at it like this: I think BB is going to use Cam like Lamar Jackson.  BB knows that's his strength (think early career Cam) and IF he does that, Newton is extremely under valued.  If my presumption is wrong, then I have Rivers and his cake schedule.  I agree 4 QBs is too many, but I really have 3 with Foles/Trubisky being same team.  So I look at them as ONE $9 QB with the easiest passing schedule in the league this season.

Hunt's 8 games last year extrapolated out to a full season put him as RB 17.  RB 17 for $17 seems like better value than CEH (unproven rookie) at $27.  Outside of the big 3 RBs, I don't see a lot of certainty so I feel better about taking equally risky options at a discount.  Dobbins may be over priced but I like him a lot and I like his chances of at least splitting with Ingram if not winning the job outright at some point in the season.  Plus he's on the most run heavy team in the league.

Metcalf was a rookie last season who put up 900 yards.  I think he will only improve this season.  Less donuts and more good games is what I'm expecting.

I'd like to have a 3rd defense as well but a 3rd PK is more important and I couldn't make it work for both so had to pick my poison there.  DEF is most certainly my weakest position.

Hopefully THIS is my year!
