***Game 272 - Detroit at Green Bay -4.5, o/u 49.0*** (1 Viewer)

Bad challenge too. Lafleur needs to wake up.
How was that ruled incomplete? I left the room out of annoyance, because it seemed like such a dumb challenge based on the first replay angle.
It sure looked like a catch to me.
Seriously, was there a 2nd angle where it looked like a drop?
No, and the guys in the booth said it hit the ground with his hands off of it - but he caught it in stride and took 3 more steps. Wtf.
I mean. i thought was a catch. but there was no in stride and two steps. He caught it going to the ground
I mean……I’m clearly a GB homer. But I don’t see any way that’s an incompletion. This league is just so dumb sometimes.
I agree…just disagree that there was some in stride with two steps.

So, I know this is a playoff game of sorts, but my points league fantasy team needs 17.3 points from ARSB to win the league. Not feeling great at the moment.

Looked like he took steps to me. Maybe I was hallucinating. Certainly possible.
I may have also had a few pregame whiskeys

which round you guys figure Jake Moody will go in?
Kickers don’t typically go in the 1st, so that’s probably off the table.

That said, I have no idea. He’s good though.

Graduate Jake Moody: No. 3 kicker

A three-time All-Big Ten honoree, Jake Moody was a 2021 consensus All-American and Michigan’s first ever Lou Groza Award winner, which is handed out to the nation’s top kicker. He led the team with 125 points, the second-highest single-season total in program history and most-ever by a kicker, nailing 23 of his 25 field goal attempts with a program-record 56 extra points. He also sailed 98 kickoffs with a 62.8-yard average and 65 touchbacks.

Hang tight - I’ll catch up. I have a bottle of Widow Jane calling my name.

Never mind. He just stinks. :oldunsure:

He's been a subject of debate in the Lions thread because his penchant to not follow his blocks and bounce everything outside has become serious business
I have him in tnat 16-team dynasty orphan I took over.

I would really like him to be as good as he’s been in the past.

I don’t love his usage. I also don’t love that he’ll have a huge game, and then be used in an entirely different way the next game (often to less success)

He does make some poor decisions, but that OL isn’t doing him a ton of favors & some of the play selection seems Ill suited to his game.

Lions should be throwing to him 8x a game, minimum.

Im on to beer brought back from Wisconsin last week. Some New Glarus Road Slush stouts with few spotted cows mixed in.

Lol at collingsworth thinking a the big lineman was trying to touch the ball with a foot out of bounds and the big Detroit defense recognizing they so prevented it
