Game of Thrones on HBO: non-book thread (1 Viewer)

I thought Jorah was going to die, which would have pissed me off.

After this I have to believe that a Stark (Jon, Bran, the little brother who left to night) will end up the final King. Or Arya will end up the baddest MoFo that ever lived and kills everyone.

I have thought that the end game is Arya vs The Mother of Dragons.

I like them both so that would suck for meI've thought of Jon and Dany fighting the white walkers and after they win they rule as king and queen, with Arya as the King's Guard and Tyrion is declared the official God of #### and Wine. The End

So I'm assuming Frey has been plotting this since Robb screwed him....and the entire wedding was the set up....because he knew Robb would come.

Yup, but what I don't get is that the Lanisters clearly had a hand in it by the remarks made when they killed Stark. Why not just have the Lanisters there to really drive the point home? When they started killing everyone they should have had a Lanister come out to seal the deal.

Oh, I think the point was driven home pretty well

And you don't just go skipping through Westeros to double spike the football, especially if you are a Lannister where you shouldn't belong

I think the element of surprise is what pulled it off....everyone was drunk and relaxed....

the Freys and the Boltons get to prove their loyalty by carrying out the plan and the Lannisters don't take a risk of losing any more of their people.

Well if they weren't concerned with spiking the ball they could have saved all the bells and whistles and killed everyone well before the "bedding", no? I think it was all about spiking the football.

They needed everybody drunk and comfortable.

I wonder what becomes of the marriage that just took place? The uncle guy seems like the type of person that will let this go, now that he has a new hot FreyWife.

If edmure completes the bedding and the girl is pregnant they have the heir to riverrun as well.

Lannisters just had their own wedding. Not sure how close the cities are, but i have the impression it is a journey of many days or weeks so not too feasible. The timeline is not clear, this could be on the same night for all we know.

Through war torn country, with risk that they get seen and Robb gets word. Not worth the gamble. Plus there is always the chance anyone they send gets caught in a double cross. Robb seemed to think he could take Casterly Rock with the Freys, the same thought could occur to the Lannisters.
