Welcome to the opening week for 2010.

Please try and help those who aren't watching by describing events and developments.

If someone is getting lots of targets, let everyone know

If someone has barely been on the field etc.

Just want to say 1) thanks in advance to homers who keep these updated every week, and 2) this is probably the most excited I have been for the season to start since Barry walked away.

:football: Looking forward to the Lions finally becoming a force in the NFC-North.Hoping that doesn't begin until next week, of course.

It's a weird feeling to be optimistic about a Lions season.

Terrible roughing the passer call against Detroit. You could easily see that the force of the contact was to the body and his hand pretty much brushed the helmet.

Nice pick! Really though there was about four Lions surrounding the receiver. Same old Cutler. Does anyone think he'll ever learn to take what's given and live to fight another drive?

At first glance(i will look through the game later) it looks like he eyed up Knox too much and didn't get enough on the throw. Altho he almost fit it in there.
It wasn't even close. 3rd and 20 and Knox was BLANKETED by at least 3 defenders. Terrible Cutler like decision.
On second glance, I see one heck of a play by Peterson. Knox would've caught it without the tip.

Nice TD run with some sick burst. Not that the hole wasn't gigantic, but his speed made the TD possible for sure.

Stafford looks light years ahead of Cutler when it comes to decision making.

Cutler 5/7 for 91 yards in the first quarter.. 1 int on a great defensive tip play that would have otherwise gone for a big gain.

It seems like every time the Lions get a terrible call against them(that hands to the face call was awful) they get a huge play like the fumble/recovery.

Olsen sucks, take him off the field and dont put him back today. Such a soft player.

Clark and Manumaleuna and Davis are plenty at TE

So far(for those not watching the game).

Lions Dline-Solid vs the run.

Bears D looks good

Bears O has had 2 long drives(one stopped inside the 5=FG, and one fumble by Olsen in the redzone). I think the O looks better than last season.

Thus far Best has been held in check...he showed nice vision and burst on the GL run however.

'Bears D looks good'

What is up with the Lions offense so far? Best 5 carries 4 yards (the TD was 7?), no completions to WRs.

If it wasn't for penalties, this game would be 3-0. Not impressed with anyone so far. Best had an easy run for the TD, but otherwise has shown very little. Cutler is not a good qb, Stafford hasnt shown the ability to throw a deep ball and overall not impressed.

If I was desperate in a big ppr league for a TE i might take a flier on Scheffler. I can see Stafford dumping a lot to him

I wouldn't be panicking about the Detroit offense. Chicago is at home, week 1, with Urlacher back. They're simply playing very well.

holy crap these turnovers are killing us..

chicago is absolutely dominating this game, everywhere but the scoreboard

Announcers: "The Lions really miss Kevin Smith, it will be a nice 1-2 punch when Smith returns. Best is more explosive but not as powerful as Smith."

2 oberservations1. It's always scoreboard. If your not winning, your not dominating2. Chicago does not look good. There is not a single player that looks better than average on the offense.
