Can anyone describe this safety? Rodgers hold it too long? Someone miss a block?
Rodgers has no time to throw. Looks scared

He has no time to throw.

Are you able to peer into his helmet?

:lmao:
Have you watched more than one GB game this year? Watching them every week he looks comfortable throwing the ball, he is in control. Today he looks scared. He is loking all over the field, he is jumpy in the pocket, he is losing the football (as on the first safety), his play looks like one playing scared.I'm not talking abotu the physical look of his face, talking abot his game play. Please tell me you've heard the phrase "playing scared" before....... :lmao:

I know Tavaris Jackson didnt look good, but atleast he theoretically has upside. So why stay with Gus? That pass was terrible, but its something you can expect from him atleast once a game.

Yeah. If they brought in Frerrote to not make bonehead throws, then they failedGet back to Jackson

The Packers O-Line is in rapid decline. Major overhaul has to be in the works if they don't turn things around.
:lmao:Right...
I take it you haven't noticed the drop off in play by Clifton and Tauscher this year. You know, the Packers only 2 above average lineman coming into this year.
Take it you didn't watch the week 1 game where Clifton held his own very well against Allen... or against TB where he held his own as well. Our T are not the problem.

####in' defense is going to save Childress job
seriously. i've given childress the benefit of the doubt because i like the guy and the way he came in and pushed for solid, hard play. but the gameday strategy is simply horrid. some kid who plays Madden could honestly coach this offense better during the game. i hate saying that, but i believe it is true.

No way it could be the stellar play by the Vikes defensive line..
:lmao:The OL has been stellar in pass protection the entire season thus far. One bad game and people are calling for a "major overhaul" :lmao:Calling out Clifton and Tauscher nonetheless- the two guys we NEED to keep on the OL!!!

Geez, you Vikings fans are insufferable. Yes, the Vikings D-Line is making it more obvious, but the bottom line is the Packers O-Line has been regressing all year.

i'm with ya. i didn't like the benching. If we were gonna play for this year why didn't we go after like a Losman, Carr, Todd Collins, Leftwich or the like. Given that we thought we had a chance this year to make some noise (which I agree with) our QB personnel strategy made no sense. Frerotte is not gonna be a guy to make plays and he doesn't avoid mistakes like a Kerry Collins.

Ummm to me it looks like they're getting better. Wells is back in the mix for the last few weeks, they seem to be running the ball somewhat okay, and they rank dead middle in the league (14th) in sacks allowed... :rolleyes:You forget that MIN had the #1 ranked D preseason?

He's not playing scared at all.

SAY OUR D-LINE IS GOOD, SAY IT!!!

The Packers gave up 19 sacks the entire regular season last year. Including today, they've now given up 20 in just over half a season. Yeah, no decline there.

First of all, they have not been stellar in pass protection all year.2nd...Clifton and Tauscher's play has declined this year...that is no secret. There is a reason McCarthy has had Clifton practicing more at times that he may have with his knees...because even his play has been down.I would not be shocked if they at some point decide to scrap the zone blocking and overhaul a few things.Though, I hope Tauscher is resigned to help in that transition as well.

And different defensive schemes from a QB switch and poor play from the RBs has absolutely NOTHING to do with that right? :lmao:

A switch to a QB who is 100% more mobile than our last QB.Truth is, and anyone who follows the Packers religiously, is that our OL is in definite decline this year.

So our pass blocking is so bad we need to change our run blocking??? Yes, Clifton and Tauscher aren't the same players they were last year, but saying we need a major overhaul when those are possibly the best 2 linemen we have is simply ridiculous. Calling for an overhaul, that we need to get rid of Clifton and Tauscher and start over again is just going backwards. You think this is bad... just imagine 2 rooks starting at T... :tfp:

But has earned ZERO respect in the league. Of course teams are going to throw all kinds of things at him.Yes the OL has declined a little, our T are old, it's going to happen, but calling for a major overhaul is just ridiculous. Talk about setting the franchise back 2 years...

Major overhaul is one thing, draft OL high next year to groom is another

Did I say he played well?A little reading comprehension here please.

Playing well? Well he's not playing that bad, but he's getting murdered back there, and seriously rushed on every play.McCarthy better make some adjustments at half.

The RB play was even worse last year to this point. Do you remember who they were trotting out there the first 7 games last year? Yes Favre was better at getting the ball off quicker than Rodgers. Was he good enough to cut the number of sacks allowed in half were he still here? I think not. As someone said earlier. The decline of Tauscher and Clifton this year is no secret.Fact: The Packers are on pace to allow twice as many sacks as they did last year. And the running game is gaining less yards per carry this year compared to '07. 3.7 this year versus 4.1 in 2007.

Im saying the whole line has not been great this year...pass blocking and run blocking. And its well known that if you want to change the scheme...it calls for a different type of lineman.

I don't think anyone said just get rid of Clifton and Tauscher and start over. Why are you making that up?

Get a brain dude. When the only two above average players on your OL are showing signs of serious decline and are showing their age, it certainly means overhaul if they don't turn it around. If Clifton and Tauscher don't find the fountain of youth, the team definitely starts planning for possible replacements. Isn't a Tauscher a FA anyway? And if Spitz and Colledge show no improvement here in season three, you can bet there probably won't be a season four for them. There's a decent chance that 3 of the 5 staters are different next year. And easily 4 if injuries can't be overcome by another. If that's not a potential overhaul, I don't know what is.
