Game Thread W13 - Dallas V NY Giants (1 Viewer)

Best the Giants secondary has played all year, except for that bizarre Redskins game. This team looks very good right now.

pathetic game by the cowboys, jones was the only guy on offence who was effective, bledsoe cost us big (full marks to the giants d-line) and everytime we got the ball with a chance to drive, we get stopped.just awful.

What happened on that last play? It looked to me like a fumble by Julius Jones that Keyshawn recovered. But it was blown dead. So I guess they ruled the fumble came after he was down?

With time running, the game would have ended in any case as there might have been 1-2 seconds upon recovery.

Can we finally stop arguing that Julius Jones lost his job to RBBC now? I'm tiring of telling everyone that's not true week after week after week. Jones: 23/74/0 + 9/88/0 recBarber: 2/8/0

Wow, talk about Defense. Giants had no business winning a game they kept trying to give away - but b/w the Giants defense, and Dallas being even worse than the Giants on O, held on.Feeley - KILLING us. Maybe his past success was based upon kicking in good conditions, mostly inside. Eli - terrible game. But again, in even his worst games, he is able to get enough done to at least have a chance. That long ball to Carter was a thing of beauty (Carter has to catch those if he is to step up). They need to use Eli's strength - the ol' school bomb - more often. Percentages be damned. I guess good teams find ways to win games when parts of their game are lacking, and that is what the Giants did today. The defensive Ends, with Pierce (and Clancy) in the middle of the field is too much to account for... secondary needs to keep it up and we still need to not have to mental breakdowns and awful penalties. But hey - this feels damn good. Go Giants.

But Keyshawn was standing when he recovered, not on the ground. So if the whistles weren't blowing, he could have took off running.
