Game Thread W14 - Cincinnati V Pittsburgh (1 Viewer)

I would like to see the number of Carson's interceptions where TO was the target. Even moreso where he was the target going to the middle.

After watching all of the Steelers games and several Philly games it appears the league has declared open season on Roethlisberger and Vick. I suppose the bad publicity these two have brought on the league is the reason, can't think of anything else, but it is obvious defenders can go after their heads and the officials are not going to throw a flag.

:goodposting: I thought the same thing. Breathe too hard on Manning or Brady and flags fly fast!!

why does Pitt need NE to win as one of their clinching scenarios?
just to clinch a playoff spot?
cudve sworn i saw on their clinch scenario, a pit win, a NE win, a jax loss or tie, and someone else a loss or tie
and a miami loss. not sure why the NE win matters but it's probably something to do with tiebreakers.
Want NE to clinch 1st in the East. If they took a nosedive and ended up tied with the Steelers for the last wildcard spot, Steelers would lose the tiebreaker. (I'm guessing)

Explain where the flags are, then. I get that officials might miss one here and there, but how in the world do you miss Roethlisberger getting clubbed in the face by Ngata a week ago? Standing there with blood pouring out of his nose onto the field didn't clue them in?Two weeks in a row now that he's been hit by a forearm to the helmet, and nothing. Brady gets a flag thrown 100 times out of 100 on that Ngata play. Christ, they change the rules if he gets hurt. They didn't do that for Palmer in the '05 playoffs....Not to mention, in the BAL game, both the Ngata hit to the face on Ben and the McClain hit on Miller both occurred where the ball carrier got hit. Refs not watching the ball? Both hits were fined. And that Williams hit on Roethlisberger would have drawn a flag if it were Harrison hitting Palmer, guaranteed. He's a marked man.
