Lets not forget some of those issues were self-inflicted. Roethlisberger _has_ been the main problem with this team this season. Certainly not alone in it but he is the #1 factor.

And he just missed another uncovered reciever.

Sorry, I just don't agree. Roethlisberger was the main problem with the team earlier in the season, and he has played poorly in other games. The main issue with the team overall, though, has been sloppy play, especially in terms of turnovers and special teams. The coaching staff does not seem to have as tight a handle on the team as they should, either. Some of that is due to Roethlisberger's poor play, but he's won us a couple of games, too. There's plenty of blame to go around. Lately Roethlisberger has played somewhat better, but this team (including Roethlisberger) has been immensely disappointing. The fact that they will still finish the season near .500 is especially frustrating. But you take Roethlisberger out and insert the best QB in the NFL right now -- take your pick which one -- I still think we gain no more than a couple of wins.

Not surprised, but disappointed (in this whole season). However, I made the comment to icon after Baltimore appeared to score a defensive TD because he said he was playing against them today.

Well, it still took a long time to bury the Steelers once and for all. They could've mailed it in at a couple of points this season, most notably after they got crushed in Baltimore, but they kept playing hard and still had a mathematical chance going into Week 16.

Another really good win for the Ratbirds, who pretty much dominated their rivals twice this season. And now they're sitting in the second seed. They've had a lot of breaks go their way this year but you'd be crazy not to think that they'll be extraordinarily tough to beat at home in the first round and a decent bet to go out to San Diego and win as well.
